I just got some hella good news. I sent in an application for VA benefits about a month ago, today I found out I was approved. I now am eligible for no cost health care, doctor visits, specialists, surgery, dental care, vision, etc..... No cost at all to me as a U.S. Army Veteran. I only have to pay $8 for prescriptions, too. Another great benefit to being a Soldier.
I have that agreement with my ex on my kids....they are older now, but have been doing this for 5 years. It wears thin. My oldest now lives with me full time. It's hectic, it leaves the children unsettled and unstructured. It can work, but it's very difficult.
