Is a woman's pain the same as a man's pain?

I also have a link which I purposely left out. It shows that we cannot handle ACUTE pain as well as men. BUT can handle pain for longer periods of time (example childbirth, back injury).

I personally cannot tolerate pain from scratching the upper part of my arm, and yet below the elbow I can scratch an itch just fine.

What is your personal opinion. Can women tolerate pain better than men? Do women feel pain more acutely than men? Or is it the other way around?

Everyone lies to a degree, white lies etc.
But to generalize and say guys lie....I don't think so. Generally people are honest, or at least diplomatic. lol

A small Canadian: My perspective.
I live in a small town. Not a lot of "immigrants" in town. BUT until about 7 years ago the company I work for was a multicultural bonanza. Nationalities from all over the world. And mostly in positions of authority. From Russia, Vietnam, South Africa, England, Egypt, Romania, Poland, French from Quebec, China,Belgium, India, Australia. I am sure I am leaving some out. The company worked quite well together. In fact one of my favourite people was "Kamal" ...(he has moved on since) but I thought of him as marriage material. Unfortunately..he was already married and committed. Left to our own devices the mix worked well together.
NOW: we are owned by an European country and their short comings with perspective to multiculturalism has invaded us quite noticeable . No longer are authority positions filled by "immigrants" . No, the immigrants now fill the lower positions. Interesting. What once was vibrant is now becoming a single colour.

In Ontario, if the landlord wishes to have their apartment(s) smoke free it must be advertised. The incoming tenant must respect the rules which can be enforced by the Health Department.
I previously lived in an apartment building. There were 5 apartments altogether. I was in the middle and had both upstairs and downstairs. At one point no one in the building smoked. A new tenant moved in and they smoked. And smoked on the balcony upstairs. The balcony was shared by all but had railings in between to divide the space. My bedroom was right beside the smokers and of course the smoke came in my room. Choke... I called the public health unit and the landlord. There was already a precedent set. The Health Unit contacted the Landlord and the landlord posted notices that there was no smoking on the property at all. One must smoke out on the street. BUT if the tenants don't complain and the landlord doesn't enforce the law...then all is for not.
