RE: Do you believe in Angels????

I'm not a Catholic but I have a Michael the Archangel medallion I wear sometimes.

Great Archangel Michael Archangel, defend us in battle,
be our defense against the wickedness and snares of the
devil.

May God rebuke our enemies, we humbly pray; and
do thou, O Prince of the heavenly host, by the power of
God, thrust into Hell the Adversary and all other evil
spirits who prowl about the world for the ruin of
souls.

Amen.

RE: Here Today, Gone Tomorrow

One of the big regrets at this point would be not having a child. It isn't the right time for us at the moment though.

The other undids would be the things that you keep putting off like seeing an older friend. The same regrets you have while alive and time just went a little too fast.

RE: Here Today, Gone Tomorrow

I have a very full life. We are very settled but that is what we both want. We have the option of vacations to exotic locations or jumping out of an airplane but that is not what we want right now.

Planning the garden and picking out a movie to see this weekend is excitement enough.

RE: Here Today, Gone Tomorrow

I think I'd wish I'd done more no matter how much I had done.

Hopefully I would not have many regrets for wrong things I had done.

RE: Life

Usually the things that hurt the most.

RE: Do You Believe in UFO's?

Unidentified is the operative word.

RE: interracial chatting/dating

Things would be awfully quiet at home without it.

RE: Can a time frame be put on falling in love?

Speaking as the party of the second part I'd say it was easier to try to remember to be slow and careful the first time through than to go back and start over.

There is nothing wrong with taking things slowly. Real dates, holding hands and taking the time to REALLY get to know each other before you fall in love or fall into bed with the other person.

If you do have to go back and start over slowly Rose's mother gave me great advice, forgiving yourself for what happened is as important as forgiving the other person. What happened, happened. You can't undo it but don't let it be your undoing. Accept it for what it is, deal with it as best you can and get on with your lives.

Temporary Tattoos

You have cute kids.

Temporary Tattoos

Mine was done for free by an artist friend with a home kit.

Temporary Tattoos

Better you than me. (needles, YIKES!!!)

What did you get?

Temporary Tattoos

I never wanted a permanent tattoo. The idea of injecting ink into my skin just does not work for me. Besides I HATE NEEDLES.

A friend did do a temporary henna tattoo for me a few years ago. It was mainly for a laugh but it was amazing seeing people's reaction to it. By the time I was sick of it, it had worn away.

How about you have you ever had a temporary tattoo (henna, jagua or a transfer) or thought about getting one?

RE: How do you feel about monogamy?

It hurt like hell when I was cheated on by an ex. Even in my wild days I never would do something that cruel and selfish.

When you cheat on someone you not only hurt them but you hurt their future partners by making them more inclined to expect cheaters.

RE: What time do you go to sleep?

Too late too much of the time. When five hours is the average amount of sleep you get, there is a problem.

RE: If you couldn't be a human what animal would you be?

I'd be a nice older woman's cat. They live a very good life.

RE: A TURN ON.....??

Occasionally kattsrose or will post something here that is a reminder to each other of something special to us. No one else might care about what was said but some are very powerful images for us.

Doing it on the threads is almost like getting a very passionate kiss in a public place when no one else is looking.

As far as anything else others mention their imagery would have to be very good to get a reaction.

RE: Why Belief in God Is Not Innate

The Wall Street Journal praising supposedly economically driven societal change.

Who'd have expected that.

Kind of seems like McDonald's talking about how tasty and nutritious their grease burgers are.

Everything goes in cycles and there is always someone saying that the change is here to stay.

Every time.

RE: what makes us all unique???

And many are here to be mixed nuts.

RE: The missing link

Yup, I'm lucky to have him. I've got a great mother, 1.5 cool brothers, fantastic partner and nice in laws. I'm very lucky to have them all.

RE: The missing link

My dad would agree. He he owns more soul, blues, funk and R&B than any other Scotsman in northern NH.

RE: Who let the dog out?

(runs up tree to get away from dog)

RE: Is a cat male or female in you mind?

OK now I'm trying to rewrite "Walk on the wild side" in my head for cats.

They all pass for female. The males are just in drag.

RE: How was your day?

A quiet productive day.

Looking forward to the weekend though.

RE: April 8th - international day of Romani Gypsies.

A good day to remember the atrocities that have been committed against the Roma over the centuries too.

RE: When you run into one of your ex's how do you feel?

I was going to make a joke about it but I suppose I would try to keep in mind that the ex is a person with a long list of mental and emotional problems and that all of the crap was a result of them.

I should forgive and forget but for now I'd just turn and walk away.

Tag Team Insomnia

My luck the coyotes would come after them!

uh oh

RE: The missing link

I added that so she would not get my mail on here.

cats meow

Tag Team Insomnia

My better half.

RE: The missing link

I'm going by the evidence provided by your previous post.

RE: The missing link

She hasn't said she was.

She was just a drifter that happened by in 1998. I actually stole her name for my identity here.

Don't blame me for calling her "Katt" though. My dad named her saying it was so her mail would not get mixed up at the post office with stuff intended for other cats.
