Seems that the missing link has been found in South Africa but I do not know anymore about it, can anyone enlighten me. Or if proved will the christian fundamentalists back off about their anti Darwin stance ?

There is no missing link.
The notion has been out of the nomenclature of physical Anthropology for 50 years.
Homo Erectus is the Human ancestor. That has been obvious for some time.
Fundamentalists will adapt to Organic Evolution the same way they adjusted to a universe that was not earth centered. That is,they will go kicking and screaming into modern thought and they will arrive late. It's hard to change your mind when you have all the answers.

Seems you guys are writing both sides of the argument. Convenient for you but not very realistic is it?

FYI most Christians are not the mouth breathing morons some would have you believe. If you would bother LISTEN to what we believe instead of TELLING us what we believe you might see that for yourselves.

Fair enough?

What do you believe regarding organic evolution?

Sorry but most of us non christians do not give a damn what you believe to be honest. Seems the Christians are more interested in the non believers. I stated that I heard a news story half an hour ago about evolution. I don't try to disuade anybody of any religion against their beliefs but I do not like being woken by religious fundalmentalists knocking on my door trying to persuade me to adopt their beliefs. I would never dream of knocking on someones door to tell them god does not exist. Do you think I am being reasonable with this statement.

Well Missing link theory Conjor is more tangible. Did you know Conjor, man was born unclothed and evolved to wear cloths, those that never evolved decided to stay NAKED.cheers

Not a matter of choosing a "belief"
Pigs can fly.Why not?

Or you can be persuaded in your way of thinking by a body of evidence not requiring a leap of faith. What is consistent with observation.

I am a born again Christian and have been for many years. I have heard from evolutionists, creationists, etc.

I had a science teacher in high school that made a good point by asking a very good question. He explained evolution, Darwinism and the Big Bang Theory. But the question he asked was this. Who created the Big Bang to begin with? The point being the Big Bang could not have happen from nothing. Something had to be there before the Big Bang could happen. Through evolution you have only adaptations within a species. No way could the DNA change so much in one species to form a completely different species. Good example of evolution.. a tadpole changing into a frog.

The fact still remains that man dont really know one way or the other wonderwoker; However it dose not hurt to debate different opinions about the subject as long as people can remain civil toward one another about it. Belief' is something that is based primarely on spirituall; Knowledge is what we percieve in our minds when we produce facthandshake

I found some readings(hard to translate it as its on Serbian language)... there was no big-bang... and life did`nt start on earth , at all ....

but I do believe that there was a great designer of life

Of course there has been evolution. The world has changed and adaption has happened. If you want to see it in action live in an old house near a farm and watch how quickly rats and mice become resistant to commercial poisons. within three years after a new formula is released it becomes largely ineffective.

Evolution comes down no more than gambling and those who the odds favor and play the game well win. The Norway rat breaks the bank every time.

Faith and science exist side by side. I'm very, very tired and have given this speech before anyway. The Bible is in large part allegorical. It was not, and is not intended for every story to be taken literally.

We all have the right to believe in what we believe and preemptive strikes (Or if proved will the christian fundamentalists back off about their anti Darwin stance) in arguments that are not going to happen are not self defense; they are attacks.

You had a poor teaching.
Your information confuses evolution with adaptation and metamorphosis.
Minor cellular changes only are required to produce a species.
These are points of the current paradigm which you find distasteful and choose to put aside in favor of a faith based alternative.
A refresher course in biology would change nothing.

'Who' seems to personify your creator, tadpole to frog is growth not evolution.
