RE: Does anyone else find themselves fighting on the forums?

yes it happens, especially if it is a topic that is close to you, have been guilty of it myself on occasion lol.

The thing is to try and discuss or debate something without taking things personally or making personal attacks.
And yes again I have been guilty of to.

we all have different experiences and opinions and could learn alot if we were more tolerent of each other.

RE: are tattoos

I have mine on my foot and honest to god was agony.

I have given birth 4 times, 3 of those without pain relief so when I say it was painful I mean it lol.

RE: Are Kids a Problem

I agree, and it can be a problem in a relationship.

I dated a guy for awhile who had 3 children, same as me, My kids loved him but his daughter hated me being around and was not shy about letting us know, it lead to to many problems and we didnt last.

From the point of view of someone in their 20s or 30s I can see where they would want to start a family of their own and maybe a ready made one is not for them.

RE: are tattoos

lol well yes in the sense that it was unbelievably painful but no in that I didnt seriously think I could have one lol

RE: are tattoos

Have said it before in here but I asked for an epidural when was having mine done lol

RE: are tattoos

RE: Big welcome to Dreadjonahs

RE: profile pics

Could be the opposite, maybe they are extremely attractive and are sick of people only seeing the outside.

RE: profile pics

I think thats a bit extreme to be honest, people can have any number of reasons for not wanting to put up a pic. Perhaps there job, or they want someone to get to know the person behind the looks.

RE: profile pics

well I have to point out that when I signed up again here I didnt put up a pic for awhile and got more mail then than I have since I put up a pic....no smart comments about how I look being the obvious reason lol

RE: Should the drinking age be dropped to 18?

Oh I know, but as I said they are checking ids a lot more these days thank god.

RE: Should the drinking age be dropped to 18?

At one time here, when the age was 21, it was actually very easy to get served, I was going into pubs and clubs very easily when I was 16 and was never asked for id.

It isnt as easy to get drink here now as it was then, my son is 20 and he and his friends carry their id everywhere with them as they are always asked for it if the go to a pub.

I just find it odd that you can get married and have a family but not leagally buy a drink.

RE: Why do men refer to ladies as WOMAN

I have heard it and they way I respond depends on the context and tone it is used, I usually laugh.

RE: how easy it is to wind cs people up

Not so good an attempt at redeeming yourself though I am afraid, rememeber the written word cannot express the tone a person means somehting in.
