Perhaps it's all of the lies and deceitful behavior from our elected officials that has jaded us. There was, believe it or not, a time in this country when people went into public service because they honestly wanted to make a difference. Now it's a steady job with a good paycheck and insane benefits. Even those who pushed for term limits continue to run for reelection each time their term is up. I am glad that Obama at least went in with the intention of making a change, however, I think he too found out that to get anything done in Washington you have to play by their rules. So to anyone who still believes this is a government of the people and for the people, God Bless you and keep drinking the kool-aid...JMO

OMG YES!!!! lol... Bob that is exactly what caused this past relationship to break up... I know that for the most part I have more in common with them than I do with women my age, but there is always that little voice in the back of my head that screams, ARE YOU INSANE!!!! lol
Max, you are so right. I have battled with the bad guys for good girls all of my life and frankly I'm tired of it. I am strong but I am also sensitive, loving, caring and romantic. Isn't that what women say they want? But seriously, that was a good post Max, nobody wants to be your second choice and certainly does not want to be the one picking up the pieces every time one of these bad boys hurts you, been there and done that.
Okay, my problem is that I seem to attract mostly younger women. In fact, my last 3 relationships have been with girls in their 20's. The problem seems to be that I want to look at the future and they don't seem to be at that point in their lives yet. Maybe I just answered my own question lol.. Anyone have any thoughts?
