There are so many qualities to look for.. One thing I think is important is to try to always be there for each other in times of good and bad. I guess for that, an understanding of each others wants and needs is also needed.
What is going to hapen to the future generations, No commitment No family values. We consider ouselves the superior race in a very advanced stage!! Yet We let animalistic instincts control our life!
The very morals and dicipline that has got us where We are We're throwing into the wind.
I seems there are a lot of weak and shallow souls out there.
Lots of people seem to be looking for any reason to turn away from others. It is quite evident with so many of the threads here.
Do we really expect to find someone who's company We'll enjoy 100% of the time?? I think You'd have to be an idiot to believe that. Has there not been times that You are sick af Your brother or sister? Or even Your parents? Do We straight away end our relationship with them??
We seem to be looking for reasons (and finding them) why We cannot have or continue to have relationships with an eligable partner. ..wrong colour or race, too fat, shinny, short, tall. Certain body parts the wrong size or shape.
We're asking if We would leave our partners if they become too dependant on us by recieving an injury or illness..!? FFS have some compassion people, and We might be able to find, and keep, true love after all!
Why do us humans make such a deal about making vows to each other. A marraige is a contract made by law, with our family, friends and God as a witness. Every culture has some ceromony based on this. It is because it is not always going to be easy, and when times get tough We are still bound by that contract. Commited! And We get over it!! And look for, and find the reasons we loved that person to start with.
