I once saw a big bikie looking bloke on a Harley riding next to a car and kicking it. It was in very heavy peak hour traffic in Melbourne. Each time He kicked the car it nearly knocked Him off His bike, He'd compose Himself again and line up another kick. I still laugh when I think of it. Although I would hate to think of what the driver of the car was thinking or what was going to happen at the next set of lights. I bet He kept a better lookout for bikes though..
Isn't a prenuptual agreement a legal contract that You sign to say that the legal contract that You are about to enter could bocome worthless at any time..?!?
I think I'd have to sign a pre-prenuptual agreement...
Really though, if You can't stick to the contract don't sign it!!
I defiately prefer cats. I have always been a cat person. I don't really believe in reincarnation, but if I did, I'd be sure I was a cat in a previous lifetime..
If We're serious about recycling, A good place to start is definatly drink bottles. I like to buy only glass bottles or aluminium cans. These are materials that can be simply melted down and reused. It is cheaper to reuse than to get the raw materials out of the ground, therefore they are readily recycled.
It's a big problem. People like to do the right thing and put the "recyclables" in the recycling places, but a lot of times they are not recycled.
For example, plastic bottles get cleaned and sorted. But who buys them?? The price of the new materials are nearly nothing, were as to recycle them costs money.. Transportation, sorting etc..
Another thing is car batteries (lead acid betteries) There are a lot of recyclable materials in there, But because the acid is so hazardous, they get sent overseas for processing. Somewhere were there isn't such strict legislation regarding handling the acid!! A lot of electronics would be the same.
I work at the local rubbish tip and I see heaps of old TVs. I probably get 1 tv every week or two, and My tip only serves about 300 people... As hard as I try, I can't give them away. I got a TV the other day, that someone claims to have spent $1000 a few years ago. It was once a flash big screen TV now it is worthless. I don't watch TV myself, otherwise I'd keep it.
There are a lot of these types of things getting thrown away. It is a big waste. Our landfill is full of this stuff.
