I once met a fella in hospital who had been kicked in the privates. He had been there for more than a week and was still haemorrhaging. He had lost several pints of blood. He was not a happy camper. ..true story!

There are heaps of 'alternative people' around this area. They sometimes wear tie dyed stuff and bells, and flowers in their hair. They enjoy peace and love, and freedom. Beautiful people!
It is really a politically correct term for Hippy or flower child. Which is a bit funny as they usually don't care for political correctness.
I'm about 20 kms from the Qld border, in NSW. It's pretty cold here too. I'd say it'd be not much more than 10 outside.. to cold for me It's toasty warm in front of this fire though
