thats good to hear john, they are very good when you know the right person, just a shame there are so many ignorent people to whats in front of them really. hope that you get all the support you need as im sure you will
god your a comedian, maybe thats why your plastic? you will never understand the ways of the land, no please dont ruin this thread like you do with others, thank you, go raibh ma agat
you call any sinn fein associate aside here in the south and they will dig up the ground you step on to find you help, you ask the crowd thats here now and they will dig up the ground so you will fall in along with your troubles, make a call and find out yourself how good they are to get you whay you need,, but yu haven't so dont shout about it until you try.
rob lets not row,, if you go back up the thread i was quoting his words and printed them wrong. go back 2 or 3 posts b4 u atack me again,, i already apolligised to you and nou starting again,, and ifpeople read full thead they will see why i snapped at u in first place,, whn u asked if i wasgoing to make a call to have u shot? so dont jump in please until you read back three lines and then look at what he says on the 1916,, i got my printout wrong,,
i like all peoples(including english)im proud to be irish and i vote FF ,i didnt like maggie when i was younger but now see the error of my ways
What errors are they then? on the thread last night on the 1916 rising you kept going on that you still love maggie?
youre implying i contradict myself can i have an example
the contradiction is that you just said now you seen the errors of your ways but last night you loved maggie, if anyone wants to read the thread its (1916 rising) so you have changed over night then, or are you just agreeing again? just wondering what you really think on your own, without following others is all,, it a straight question.
not been rude but i have noticed with some of your posts that you seem to agree with a person when all is well and when things go bad you take there side,, and in another thread you said you love maggie thatcher,, is that where you get your wisdom,,are you a follower ? because you dont sound like much of a leader? unless someone agress of course, i aint looking for sheep here,, just a thread where we have OUR OWN OPINIONS not what others say to follow, so stop doing that please. or as you do in situations i dont mean to be rude either, but im sure others have noticed it also
why are you so addiment that im in for shock? surely the people have been screwed just once to often by this government, do you believe they will elect them again? And Sf have achieved a lot of things south in last few years, people are slowly comming out of shells and waking up to what they believe should be reality. The people of Ireland wont be mocked as fools anymore, we are a great nation full of trust but you can ony get bitten certain amount of times before you snap back.
you seem to be missing the point. Sinn fein are looking for a united Ireland (all four shores). most others are living and trying to deal with the things that they have now, and the group we have at the minute cant even manage that much. they have been selling us out slowly over last ten years,, sf have slowly gained more than what this lot have caused us in that period. time for serious changes in the country is all im saying, and im sure 80% of the land would agree if fianna FAIL, did you notice the second part of the governments name,,, fail backed down we would have a better land.
but on a national level thyre policicies are ludicrious they would stifle competition and give unions more power we can all see what the unions are threatening at the moment[/in fairness to SF they do alot for some localitiesquote]
yes some localities, but the more support sinn fein get, then they can give the more localities the support they need too. the votes are needed to gain higher power and status of there rulings and sayings about who gets what. but you cant drive a car without fuel, it is the Irish that will keep the flame burning, without the support our country will stay as it is now, crooked government with all promise and no justice to the people our ancesters fought and died for. Let us lay down and get told what to do, independence is forgotten. isn't that not why they rebelled in first place?
the reason he may not seem to have a clue, "(intelligent man) as you called him" is because his party is just getting involved a little more with things down south, up until few year ago he had not much o a say although the ideas were there. but every door he has opened in the south so far has put furniture, cloths, food, and various other things into those peoples lives, and the more support the party gets the more they can achieve for both sides of border lines, and have been doing with a small force they have achieved a hell of a lot for there people so far, more than the big group we have now that are taking from the few gulibles that are still in there trance.
Part of the reason that sinn feinn didn't seem to have much policies in recent elections it seems is because ff had been shouting so loud with promises to people that they distracted folk from looking further. Sf has not been regosnised in the south just yet by many as a party of realists. There is a lot more sf tds around in the south over last few years and they are doing great work with the public in whatever way possible. if they keep getting support and people begin to give them there trust, then they will become stronger still, but a fly can only walk without wings. and who we have at the moment in government it seems has eaten some of our less fortunate citizans christmas dinners this year. change can only happen with votes,, and it was the early brigade that fought to give us that right as mentioned in another thread, why should we now ignore sf in this day and age? jmo
I do think that the purpose was achieved in the rising of 1916, maybe not as well as those who fought would have liked it to be... but it gave us a lot more rights with freedom than we would have today if our brave country men had not had stood up for what they wanted for there island of the future. It was what they believed in, to make a stand and fight for what they wanted, just as the hunger strikers done. I think we would all agree that there is no such thing as a lobster dinner in politcs,,, it is do what you can when doors open and use the means avalible at any given time to protect and serve your country with as little damage as possible, the retaliation thing was tried, but sometimes its easier to gain things from civilness and friendship? And yes i think there should be a rememberence day in aid of those that gave us what we managed to hold onto today, freedom of votes and speech for the Irish people as individuals in there own country, with our Irish president raising the flag of tribute with pride to all that gave her the job she has today..jmo
Would just like to say best wishes to all and theirs in the year ahead!! Let the breeze blow us all forward, And the sun warm our shoulders, As we move into new days, And not try forget the past, But hope for a happier future to all, Best wishes to all, And happy New Year.
so can you answer us this then? they are the only country in europe that have three names. when they need support they are united kingdom. when they win a gold medal they are great britian. but most of the time they are just plain english.
there was no need to call the girl ignorent, she just replied an opinion.
please try to festrict the attitudes towards others.
scriob i agree with you 100% and always have in other threads, i didn't do when you taught i was stirring things up, gg attacked me on other thread and i defended myself, he is trying here again, no hard feelings scriob, and sorry to rob but he just gave a few sarky comments which made me bite, im here to give replies if i feel the need, if not i just read, so hope you wont ask others to ignore me and i might go away again,
just dont listen to gg's harshness but let him have is opions right as he says or wrong that we dont care!!
very friendly way to be scrib, and i actually admired your wisdom, we all have opinions on here, it is a thread after all and anyone can make up there own minds. dont need someone telling them what to do, Ireland a free choice of speech or have you forgot?
