I recall my ex in-laws stating that the main reason for their immigrating here was that one bright spot in Yugoslavia was waining and they didn't want to stick around w/o Josip Broz Tito who they believed united everyone there. Seemed like Yugoslavia did stand out amid most of Europe for many years. I guess Stalin tried five or six times (known) to unsuccessfully assassinate Tito. What do I know though. As you said its a little complicated and I don't even pretend to fathom and understand how corrupt our government is.... which is probably why Thomas Jefferson to be armed and vigilant about one's government.

Other countries need not ever fear Americans possessing weapons. It is our country's leaders to watch for. We recognize this negative aspect potential in any government, as did our founding fathers, so we will always posses and bear arms. Ever wonder why our government doesn't enforce current gun laws?

One arrogant brit celebrity here said our guns are useless against a government holding nuclear weapons. Right, like the government is going to get government employees to blow themselves up when all government employees here worry about is their pension.

Sir, would you be surprised to know that we don't need your oil and not because we can get oil elsewhere. I believe that less than 12% of our oil is from the Persian Gulf and around 66% of that is from Saudi Arabia. You are right though, I bet you find talking bs online is easy.

Well...Not in my book. Murder is murder, not pot/black. I Just was elucidating on how some people can ok one form of murder (our president), regardless of means, over another and how these same people want to take away rights of others to legally own guns because of the wacko thing I mentioned in an earlier post.

For the most part, The rights of individuals comes first here. That is why we have a bill of rights.

Any president, congress person, governor, mayor etc who swears to uphold and defend the constitution of the USA in his elected office and duties, and then turns around and attacks our bill of rights is a traitor and should be removed from office that he swears to uphold. The original purpose for any of the points in our bill of rights will always exist. It's that simple.

One person doesn't make a government unless they become dictatorial. We have methods to get rid of corrupt "leaders" that includes free speech, so we can be less Fearful.... All this thanks to people who were treasonous against the king of England. When the folks who signed the Declaration of Independence put ink to paper, they well knew that it was their necks if they failed to liberate the colonies from a government ruled by the king of England.
