It is true thought that > 50% of EPA could be eliminated w/o jeopardizing public health. Now back to junk science. Global warming is junk science. EPA today has strict quality assurance measures and quality control steps to demonstrate that air quality measurements are accurate with a very high degree of precision. This activity started around 1985 with the requirement that most ambient air quality sampling equipment be calibrated with reference to NBS primary standard reference materials (NBS is now NIST). The introduction of junk global warming science is due to the fact that none of the simple temperature measurements are quality assured to any accuracy. Now, how many degrees C in ambient temperatures do global warming supporters say man has influenced or contributed to by stack emissions? Global warming is junk science.
Duh, guess you've never read my humble profile on CS. I worked for the EPA for thirty-three years in air pollution control. There's nothing science based about global warming issues.. That's one of the reasons I retired from EPA four years ago. Newer EPA goals are all regulator and don't have squat to do with any science.

That post sounded kind of like prez. Obama.
