About to be filled with more packing boxes! I did some laundry this morning so for a change I will be filling boxes and hoping breakfast stays down- morning sickness my BUTT! Its constant all day nausea- I am now 15 weeks pregnant and it hasn't stopped yet! Getting excited over my move to be with my fiance.... really ought to delete my profile from here soon.....

Very good!

I had a hospital appointment this morning and am very pleased to announce I am 3 months pregnant, expecting a near miracle baby in March!

Yes I hope to see him again soon, he lives near where I work... no I'm telling you his name not yet anyways as its early days! He's nice though so we will just see- maybe his work will take him away again but hey.....

Because its a complicated arrangement of a 4 year old laptop and not being able to find a RAM chip to upgrade its pissy little memory that crashes four or five times a day when I go on sites with flash or anything fancy...........

In Cyprus- I'll use an American for example as this is what happened to a friend of mine- if you want to buy land or property, you need to do it through a Cypriot- you have to either have family ties or similar. You can stay in the property for up to 6 months of a year- but then you have to leave it for 6 months again before returning.
Certain nationalities have to get visa's to visit Cyprus even that involve lengthy trips with the person who is inviting you having to prove income, length of time stayed, job, money in the bank etc etc!

What makes me happy today is not going to be the same as every other day.

Today, chocolate, strong painkillers, warmth and not doing this from pain are what is making me happy.

*facepalm* honestly, the question starting the thread was 'how come you don't believe in God'. Didn't realise it would turn into this! I thought this was an adults site for sharing our viewpoints!!!!!!!!!!!!

You want to try applying for a license to sell alcohol and refusing to swear on the bible...... THAT was good fun- they asked me why I didn't want to swear on the bible, I said that I might as well swear on a cartoon book as the bible means nothing to me. A few that day!

I don't see marriage as being sacred. Its a contract- thats all it ever was and shall remain so.

I'm not religious. I'm spiritual- in fact, I'm a tree-loving, earth worshipping Pagan and proud. Could I marry a Christian? No. Muslim? No etc etc.

My religion is not a religion, it is my belief and my faith. My rock and my water It is part of who I am and who I have been and will be- and for me to marry a person of religion would be to deny part of myself.

Cyprus- new baby advice

Are there any traditional gifts or anything? Do I need to take something for parents or is a gift for just baby fine?

I've never been to a wedding or anything over here so I'm looking forwards to this!

Yes football is on! that explains why it is so nice and quiet in here!!!!! At least football serves one useful purpose- gets rid of the bores who watch it! I'm watching a cheesy made-for-TV movie and doing housework.

Cyprus- new baby advice

A Cypriot colleague of mine at work and his wife recently had a baby girl. I know they are waiting 40 days before allowing visitors (please no comments on this- its a cultural thing). Does anyone have any advice on things I can say when allowed to visit the little one and welcome her to the world? I have a present already picked out and bagged ready for her.

Like, I know you say 'Chronia Polla' for a birthday or names day- and I am practising my 'Christos Anesti' and 'Alithos Anesti' ready for Easter- but is there something similar to say to the parents or the little one?

Baby is 3 weeks old this weekend just gone- so I have a while to wait yet- gives me time to practise!
