RE: would you date someone much older than you?

BTW: my answer to OP's question is:

Yes! I would date an older person (women only, off course), as long as her inner child is not suppressed!
She lives in the present moment, doesn't carry baggage, laughs innocently & carry a decent conversation.

Also important she does not have AIDs!

Hearing Aids,
Walking Aids,
Sight & listening aids,
False teeth & so on!

RE: would you date someone much older than you?

RE: What Do You Think About Imagination

Hehe! Chose option 3!grin

I think a vivid imaginatio is healthy for any normal human being! However, you should naturally be yourself but yea, I would say you can use it positively!
Here's how I would do it: Imagine my perfect mate, height, eye color, facial expression, weight, voice, hair length/style etc - let your imagination run wild, as much detail as possible!
You can also snip pictures from various magazines to pierce together your ideal build up model!
Paste & color appropiately & stick on a post card, stick on your fridge, wardrobe, mirror - places that will constantly remind you of your quest/vision!
Mediate upon it frequently, so that vision is constantly engraved in your mind!
Work torwards your goal also (its wish fulfilling - you have to do your bit); excerise, jog, gym, beautify yourself, lood constantly good & attractive!

This info is derived from a book called "Creative Visualisation" by Shakti Gwain (don't worry, no relation to me - have tons of self material).

Then suddenly, viola! In a supermarket, garage, bank or office environment, somewhere you'll get to meet your ideal opposite!
When that happens, remember to send me a case of Jack Daniels!wine

RE: triple blasts in Mumbai

Man, I don't understand those Dudes; wonder if they'll ever come right or grow up! Both Countries!
UN should relocate all non muslims from Pakistan & relocate all muslims from India to Pakistan - then put up a 100 foot wall between the two! And then let's see who start trouble first!

For the Rest:

In South Africa & various other countries I've visited, I seen members of both those nations living side by side, no problem.
My own brother is married to a muslim women & I embrace my nephews with same love as I do for rest of our family!

Methinks, it's something they're taught from young!

RE: cultural barrier in a relationship

Had similar with our Rotary water projects (see post above); sponsor on his 70th birthday wanted boreholes, dams provided in 70 of poorest villages. We bathed & washed in rivers, slept in the open, worked with the most rudimenta tools (no tractors, bulldozers, etc) - just picks, shovels & pure muscle power! Really enjoyed it though!
But, I took my own food - kinda particular on what I consume!
cheers

RE: cultural barrier in a relationship

All da time! All da time! Was fortunate to play in an all Black Pro soccer team, Zulu Royals in early to mid 70's, so am failry conversant in Zulu!
Currently, am about 10kms from township of Tembisa (2nd largest) & perform a lot of charity/rotary work there (ref to an earlt post, last week); we built a creche (at our expense) there for single working Mums! In Venda, about 800kms away from surburb, we built a DAM for a village & sponsored a few hundred orange trees - they now making a living of it!
On a personal level, I sponsor a under 16 soccer team, all under my own expenses - my reward! I get to play with a Jazz Band in one of the more popular sheebens on a Saturday night! grin
