Debt up over $64,000 per taxpayer since Obama

(CNSNews.com) - The national debt has now increased by more than $64,000 per federal taxpayer since Barack Obama was inaugurated president.

At the close of business on Jan. 20, 2009, according to the U.S. Treasury, the total debt of the federal government was $10,626,877,048,913.08. By the close of business on July 10, 2012, that debt had climbed to $15,885,854,755,351.47—an increase of $5,258,977,706,438.39.

In “Statistics of Income—2009 Individual Income Tax Returns,” which was published this year and is the Internal Revenue Service’s most recent statistical report on individual income tax data, the IRS reported that there were 81,890,189 tax returns filed in 2009 that reported taxable income.

If each of these 81,890,189 federal taxpayers were given responsibility for paying off an equal share of the new federal debt added since Obama was inaugurated, they would each need to pay about $64,219.88.

ObamaCare cost 3 times more than 1st thought

No guarantee in next decade subsidies won't be increased, coverage won't be expanded.

(PJMedia) The Republicans on the Senate Budget Committee released a nifty little chart showing the progressively more dire estimates for the cost of ObamaCare over a decade.

President Obama promised a joint session of Congress in 2009 to spend $900 billion over ten years on his health care law: “Now, add it all up, and the plan that I’m proposing will cost around $900 billion over 10 years.” Adding up all the different spending provisions in the health care law, however, (including closing the Medicare ‘donut hole,’ implementation costs, and other spending) total gross spending over the FY 2010–19 period is about $1.4 trillion, based on CBO estimates,” the Senate Budget Committee Republican staff explains.

A Senate Budget Committee analysis (based on CBO estimates and growth rates) finds that that total spending under the law will amount to at least $2.6 trillion over a true 10-year period (from FY2014–23)—not $900 billion, as President Obama originally promised.

$30 Mil to Jordan's Schools?

Here we have teachers getting laid off and schools in trouble from being short of money and we are putting $30 mil in Jordan's schools? This is Obama's change? Our kids are made to do without and Jordan's schools get $30 mil of "our" money our schools need so very badly?

"The Obama administration’s solution to public school budget cuts and classroom overcrowding? Infuse millions of extra federal dollars into constructing modern facilities and renovating old ones, while deploying additional computer equipment – and new furniture – in schools nationwide

Nationwide, that is, in the Hashemite Kingdom of Jordan."

I bet you went far out in the biz world having been taught how to kiss butts so well, and getting all that practice.

Sorry no offense meant, i just got this really funny mental picture.

RE: What was the most pointless or useless thing you learned at school?

I needed an easy class to fill out my schedule, so I took homeech. I learn a lot of great things to cook that were really easy to make and I was the only guy in the class. I don't think I ever got that much attention in any class, or anywhere for that matter. It was a great time!

Obama: JPMorgan Is 'One of the Best-Managed Banks

You mean he kisses their butt in hopes they may drop money on him.

Obama: JPMorgan Is 'One of the Best-Managed Banks

While a powerhouse like JPMorgan might be able to weather an error that the bank's own CEO called "egregious," the president questioned what might happen to smaller institutions in similar situations.

"This is one of the best managed banks. You could have a bank that isn't as strong, isn't as profitable managing those same bets and we might have had to step in," he said.

"This is one of the best managed banks?" OMG how stupid and /or how far out of touch is this buffoon?

RE: What was the most pointless or useless thing you learned at school?

What about all the things they taught us that were proven plain out wrong?

Obama Calls Trash Collecting a ‘Green Job

"gang-greening!" man did hit that nail square on the head! WOW!!

Obama Calls Trash Collecting a ‘Green Job

Federal Report: ‘Green Jobs’ Include Trash Collectors

A recent Bureau of Labor Statistics report counts 3.1 million green jobs in the U.S. economy, but the BLS defines these jobs so broadly that it includes even school bus drivers and trash collectors as “green” workers.

“Cheerleaders for the president’s program of green jobs mandates and spending point to the study as confirmation of green jobs’ economic importance,” said David W. Kreutzer, Research Fellow in Energy Economics and Climate Change in the Center for Data Analysis at The Heritage Foundation.

Kreutzer takes issue with the report as “an effort to count the number of green jobs as a way of justifying subsidies and mandates.”

“Just a little digging into the data shows that only a small fraction of the 3.1 million jobs could have been created by green subsidies and mandates.”

The BLS study defines green jobs as those “in businesses that produce goods or provide services that benefit the environment or conserve natural resources.”

Using this definition, the BLS counts 43,658 jobs in steel mills as green because the industry uses scrap steel and can be classified as an active recycler.

Similarly, 27 percent of all paper mill jobs, 30,473, are counted as green because mills use recycled paper.

Steel and paper mill jobs “do not fit in with the rhetoric of the new, clean economy that green jobs proponents use to justify expensive green policies — the sort of policies that brought the Solyndra debacle,” Kreutzer writes in the Heritage Foundation report.

The electric power generation industry is said to have 44,152 green jobs, but only 4,700 are in renewable power generation.

The nuclear power industry has 35,755 green jobs, according to the BLS, but since no new plants have been built in the past 30 years, those jobs “are clearly not the result of any green energy or green jobs programs,” Kreutzer points out.

Other jobs considered to be green by the BLS include those in used merchandise stores (106,865 jobs), waste collection (116,293), school and employee bus transportation (160,896), leisure and hospitality (22,510), office furniture sales (14,888), septic tank cleaning and portable toilet servicing (13,313), radio and television broadcasting (9,297), fruit and tree nut farming (12,176), and social advocacy organizations (20,704).

Kreutzer concludes that the BLS’s “definition and collection mechanisms raise serious questions about how green those jobs are and whether their count can be a useful measure of the importance of green jobs in America’s economy and the effectiveness of green jobs policies.”

Taxes Now Higher Than Food, Clothing, Shelter Costs

This year Americans will pay more in total taxes than they spend for food, clothing, and shelter combined, illustrating what the Tax Foundation calls the “growing cost of government.”

Total outlays for taxes in 2012 will be about $4.04 trillion, which is $152 billion more than Americans will spend on housing, food, and clothing.

“Relative to the basic cost of living, taxes have increased considerably in recent decades,” the foundation states in a new report.

In 1929, Americans paid $10.1 billion in taxes while outlays for food, clothing, and shelter totaled $41.6 billion.

The cost of those essentials surpassed tax collections every year after that until 1981, when the $858.3 billion paid in taxes narrowly surpassed the $854.4 spent on food, clothing, and shelter.

Seven years later, in 1988, taxes again surpassed outlays on essentials, and they remained larger than food, clothing, and shelter costs every year until 2009, when the economic slowdown reduced tax collections.

But after a two-year gap, taxes are once again trumping spending for food, clothing, and housing.

The Tax Foundation also points out that transfer payments — government outlays that Americans can use to purchase food, clothing, and housing, among other things — have increased considerably in recent decades.

In 1929, transfer payments accounted for just 0.5 percent of private outlays on food, clothing, and shelter. By 1965, when Medicare began, the percentage had grown to about 11 percent. Today it is close to 35 percent.

“Consumption data, which comes from the Bureau of Economic Analysis, includes private consumption that is paid for with government transfer payments from assistance programs such as Medicare,” Kevin Duncan of the Tax Foundation observes.

“This leads to double counting, as the taxes that finance these programs and the increased consumption that those taxes fund are included in both tax and consumption figures, respectively.

“Despite these limitations, the comparison of tax costs to the basic cost of living provides a useful illustration of the growing cost of government.”

43.6 mil Americans in Foodstamps

This is an all time high, and O has the highest misery mark ever in America as well.

RE: why men do lie

Why do women lie just to sleep with a man? doh

RE: First Dates, What NOT to say if you want a second!

The same going on and on about how your ex hurt you in the past, and that goes for guys and girls. I can't begin to count how many girls on line just drone on and on about how their ex did this or did that and how that hurt.
And then their next question almost always is; would you treat me like that?
Any adult should know that when a relationship goes bad, both parties did something wrong. If you got cheated on, then most likely you left your partner wanting, and they went and found that something missing with someone else.
It's like having a car wreck, even if the cops say it is the other person's fault, YOU did something wrong. Maybe it was just you did see it coming, but then you have been more aware of whats happening around you, and thats your fault.
This is not always true but it is quite often. As we all know there is no such thing as always.

RE: Does God know what you are capable of in any given sitution?

You need much more time spent reading the word. You have clearly missed it, thats if you have even read it. From what you said here it seems you talk much about what you know little to nothing about. If had read and did know then you would know we are no supposed to get the big picture as we with tiny minds could not begin to grasp all the complexities.

RE: Does God know what you are capable of in any given sitution?

The bible says: everything that was, is, and will be is known. So it is definite yes God knows.

RE: biggest turn off

I have a headache!! For God sake be honest!! Just say there is no chemistry on my part here.

RE: Do women ask men out ??

I can say when the ladies do ask a guy out they get exactly what every guy has gotten only they guy got it 1000 times more often. Maybe the girls would take a lesson from asking a guy out and getting that cold rejection, but I doubt it very much that they would.

RE: What is the best economic policy to eradicate Poverty?

End ALL government programs for free housing, food, ect. End ALL taxation of the citizens by setting a tariff to fund the Gov. Require the Gov to run inside that budget from the tariffs. After all it is not the Gov's biz how much the citizen makes. Also that eliminates the cost to collect the taxes from the citizens. Those who collect the tariffs are paid from the tariffs.
This also ends the corps who cheat paying taxes. Taxes are based on a profit, and corps buy and sell their goods before they reach the country they are sold in. This eliminates their profits on paper and thus so goes their taxes. Require all tariffs to be paid at the port of entry before being sold. This makes an airtight tariff system that ends any cheating.
Make it treason to steal from the Gov. The citizen has more time to work to make more for the family, all the money wasted ends, the Gov is put a set budget, many more hours get freed to add to the GDP.

RE: November 2012 is near America! Obama Rocks, and even GOP knows this, and do not know what to do a bo

Just take a look at Greece and France and see what is coming in our next election. Face facts the voters are fed up with DC excuses here just as were the French and Greeks. Incumbents, and long time BIG NAME incumbents, are loosing here as I post this.
This next election is going to a real eye opener for those who survive to get reelected, and a wake up call to everyone in DC. Like the Bob Dylan song says, The times they are a changing.
Welfare up 41%, gas up 83%, food up, electricity up, and unemployment up spell disaster for those in DC if they don't get it together. It damn sure can't work for O as his energy policy works to make prices go up even more. Clearly O just doesn't get it.
Add to this a Tennessee Supreme Court judge has asked for a definition of "natural born citizen". O having been Indonesian clearly is NOT natural born as Indonesia DOES NOT allow dual citizenship. There can be no argument that I went to school there and only citizens can there can go to public school there.
O is headed to jail in the not too distant future. Each document he signed or put up carries a 5 year Federal prison term and a $250,000 fine.

RE: November 2012 is near America! Obama Rocks, and even GOP knows this, and do not know what to do a bo

You need to be fixed so you can't pollute the gene pool. Clearly there was no life guard watching over your gene pool.

RE: IF GUYS JACK OFF...DO WOMEN.....

RE: Divorce rate so high in America. Why?

Proverbs 31 tells what a man should look for in wife and what she should look for in her husband. I think Proverbs is like the rules to a good life. It covers why and how to choose friends, your spouse, and how to act. Like it or not this universe has rules, follow them and life is good, don't and your life becomes a sewer. As to a wife being a guy the rules start with verse 10.

10Who can find a virtuous woman? for her price is far above rubies.

11The heart of her husband doth safely trust in her, so that he shall have no need of spoil.

12She will do him good and not evil all the days of her life.

13She seeketh wool, and flax, and worketh willingly with her hands.

14She is like the merchants' ships; she bringeth her food from afar.

15She riseth also while it is yet night, and giveth meat to her household, and a portion to her maidens.

16She considereth a field, and buyeth it: with the fruit of her hands she planteth a vineyard.

17She girdeth her loins with strength, and strengtheneth her arms.

18She perceiveth that her merchandise is good: her candle goeth not out by night.

19She layeth her hands to the spindle, and her hands hold the distaff.

20She stretcheth out her hand to the poor; yea, she reacheth forth her hands to the needy.

21She is not afraid of the snow for her household: for all her household are clothed with scarlet.

22She maketh herself coverings of tapestry; her clothing is silk and purple.

23Her husband is known in the gates, when he sitteth among the elders of the land.

24She maketh fine linen, and selleth it; and delivereth girdles unto the merchant.

25Strength and honour are her clothing; and she shall rejoice in time to come.

26She openeth her mouth with wisdom; and in her tongue is the law of kindness.

27She looketh well to the ways of her household, and eateth not the bread of idleness.

28Her children arise up, and call her blessed; her husband also, and he praiseth her.

29Many daughters have done virtuously, but thou excellest them all.

30Favour is deceitful, and beauty is vain: but a woman that feareth the LORD, she shall be praised.

31Give her of the fruit of her hands; and let her own works praise her in the gates.

Now before in Proverbs it says prepare your field then build your house. So how many have "really" prepared their field first? I find most go to find a mate without any prep done first. Many have said we will find a way to make it work. I could go on and on but I think this is made, and the bible is the rule book to a good life.
The universe does have a real structure, and it is made to work by that structure. You choose to make up your own rules then you're asking for trouble.
How many women go into a marriage with nothing or almost nothing, and like wise how many guys did all the prep they should before getting married? The bible speaks about debt, and how many live their life in debt?
Put all these together and don't follow the rules, you have a failure waiting to happen!!

RE: Have you found anybody "real" that you like on CS?

Lots of people on CS but someone special no, well not yet. I got a big truck load of scammers though.

RE: NO STRING ATTACHED

Here in the US where I live we call it "the south", and we have a saying.

Never buy a pig in a poke. A poke is a like a sack or a cloth bag, so you cannot see the pig inside.

RE: ......america women and their love with visa....lol !!!!!!....

It's just one way to gain access to money, it's the money not the card.

RE: My Dream CAR is...
