i must agree, it takes more than a day, some of us joke around on here alittle, and have fun at eachothers expense, but thats getting to know one another more. there are some great guys and ladies here. i almost left after a couple days. but am glad i hung around, have met some nice folks.
howdy' ya very good, they don't get the credit thats due them as a great band, aside from those of us that were there, i could talk music all night, but have to get back to work.
early 60's lonnie mack with his flying vee and whammy bar invented bluesrock guitar playing, influencing srv and jimmie vaughan, keef richards, dickey & duane, E clapton, ect, ect there is great footage of lonnie and stevie jamming together before lonnie stepped away from the spotlight, saw lonnie a few times 84-86, stevie produced lonnies strike like lightning, stevie also played on a couple tracks great blues/roots album to check out.
try to find a copy of frank mario & mahogany rush-real live' its a double disc of a great show he put on several yrs ago anyone that likes jimi, eddie, zakk, will enjoy this.
saw an interview with zakk wilde where he talks about what a huge influence Frank Marino had on him. alot of people have covered Albert Kings' born under a bad sign' one of my favorite versions is Pat Travers' another under rated guitarist in the blue-rock genre.
