RE: The Orange Order marching season.

There is be lots of Tricolours sold over the next few days so the orangies can burn them on their bonfires.

Here in the 26 if you even start a fire in the back yard you could get fined, amazed they get away with starting bonfires made up of pallets and tyres.

RE: The Importance of good spelling and grammar

There's a happy medium, it doesn't bother most people if there is the odd spelling or grammar mistake but when I see on a persons profile "anyting u wanna kno jus ask" I move on.

RE: Questions on Irish travelers.Let your voice be heard !!

Yes it would be somewhere between 30'000 and 40'000

RE: Questions on Irish travelers.Let your voice be heard !!

Seeing as you're talking about violence, do you condemn the traveller feuds that lead to violence, including what happened to John Joe Nevin and the all out riot that occured in Mullingar?

RE: Questions on Irish travelers.Let your voice be heard !!

I'm a bit puzzled why if she want a debate on this she didn't post the thread on the Irish forum where we know the score and what she is talking about.

People from other countries aren't going to know about a population of 40,000 max in a small counrty of about 3.5 million people.

RE: Questions on Irish travelers.Let your voice be heard !!

First pic, definate traveller head on the one on the far right, and the fella with the shiney pants.

Second pic you obviously and the one at the front with the big earrings, dead giveway there.

Third one white top wearer and the boy as well.

There are probably more in the pics as well I would hazzard a guess.

RE: Questions on Irish travelers.Let your voice be heard !!

Well around here you can tell someone is a traveller a mile away by the way they dress.

But of course you'll say I'm wrong in that as well I suppose.

RE: Questions on Irish travelers.Let your voice be heard !!

Wrong again, at least be specific, the law let anyone travel on the road as long as the vehicle is insured and taxed.

The law does not let people park on private property, or set up camp by the side of the road which is dangerous to other road users.

The rest of the population obey these rules.

RE: Questions on Irish travelers.Let your voice be heard !!

Thats the way it used to be, most of them are in houses now supplied by the Co Council.
The ones that still go around in caravans ofton park in private land or public parks and leave rubbish and a mess behind them which the councils have to clean up at a cost to the taxpayer.

Contrary to what the OP would have people who don't know the full fact believe travellers are well looked after here, but they don't see the point in staying in education and the girls ofton get married way too early, between 16 and 18 and are not encouraged to go to collage and build a career for themselves.

RE: Questions on Irish travelers.Let your voice be heard !!

I see it here in Galway, parking where they like on land that doesn't belong to them, getting houses and then some of them wreck the house and taxpayers like me have to foot the bill.

RE: Free sites are better or worse than payed dating sites

How do you know there is just as many scammers on a paid site if you never joined one?

There aren't really in my experience.

RE: so wood you date someone with no job

I would, as long as they were actually looking for a job.

RE: What's Your Favourite Eurovision Song Ever?

Wild Dances by Ruslana.

If you have a good song and chorography you will get the votes, something we could do with taking on board here in Ireland.

Our entry was rubbish this year so it was no surprise we got nowhere.

RE: Vikings

It's not as good as Game of Thrones though.
