The idea is to die young as late as possible. ~Ashley Montagu

RE: Really?

Never thought of that, but it's a clear possibility that he WAS lying when he 'let it slip' that he was still married.

RE: Really?

I was talking on the phone everyday with a widow; we made a lot of plans together.

One day she told me she needed to get a divorce, before she could come to Hawaii.

I blocked her, and now it says on my profile... married is not the same as a widow!.[/quote]

LMAO. Sorry. Sad to hear about how this happened to you, but LOVE the line!!!

RE: Really?

BULL!!!!!

RE: Do you believe in premarital cohabitation?

I believe that everyone has different ideas of what marriage is, and that could be a reason we have so much divorce today. I also believe that there are many other reasons.

RE: Do you believe in premarital cohabitation?

LUCK? Do you doubt my abilities? I would even consider moving the state into the middle of the Pacific Ocean to be nearer you but an awful lot of MA residents would be really ticked off at me for that. So, I guess the only alternative is for you to find me a job that I could support myself with, and I'd have to move just me to Hawaii instead of the whole state. See the sacrifices I'm willing to make for you??

RE: kissing

RE: Chat up Lines

RE: kissing

Can't speak for all women, but if I liked you enough to go out with you, chances are that you'd be safe kissing me.

RE: Do you believe in premarital cohabitation?

What I said about winning the argument came out all wrong. I believe, and HAVE believed all along, that you are serious about your beliefs. I would never want to tread on anyone else's beliefs, unless their beliefs told them they had to kill me, or something like that.uh oh

To be honest, I am happy to see that there are still men, like you, who believe in the sanctity of marriage. Thank you for that.

RE: When a woman says "down to earth” in her profile what does she actually mean?

Hmmmm. Looks pretty tied up between Understanding, Stupid, Submissive and Humble. Don't know that I'd think someone was stupid or gullible just cuz they said they were down to earth. I think of down to earth as "not high maintenance", and I think of myself as down to earth because I don't have my head in the clouds.

RE: Do you believe in premarital cohabitation?

I would think that being in a relationship for over 10 years shows that I am able to adapt to change.

Thank you for saying that you respect my choices. That's all it is and I would not want you, or anyone else, to think that I don't respect your opinion just because it is different from mine. We have all suffered hurts and we all must deal with these hurts in the best way we know how.

Will it help you to feel like you've won the argument if I say that I really don't know what I would do IF a man I loved whole-heartedly asked me to marry him? Right now, I'm not in that position and I'm still feeling the hurts too deeply to say that I could ever get married again. I do know a couple marriages that I respect and maybe, if I could find a relationship like they have, I would accept a proposal of marriage. But probably only after I've lived with him first...... :-)
