Langleygirl I agree with that statement. Zen masters used to believe that we aore all part of a greater truth and so what one does and says effects everyone, and everything in some way. By the way , your statement was well thought out and I liked it very much.
Funny i always though the world could be whatever we make it out to be. Of course you are entitiled to your opinion but I just feel that to be kind, as long as you are not taken advantage of, is a good thing. Give respect and kindness and if you don't get it back then smile and move on. People who do not reciprocate kindness aren't worth the time anyway.
I was just wondering if you all believe in kharma? I've noticed a lot of change in my thinking in reguard to this in that I now try to spread a little cheer everywhere I go. I feel positve feelings make positve changes in the world and that such changes will come back to you in a positive way.
I surecould and all it takes is a wonderful personality. I have a friend I go out with once per week and she has a few extra pounds and I don't even notice it because she and I are good friends.

i think that it is when you reach your lowest point that you find out who you really are and find that strength within that allows you to pick yourself up and become a stronger erson. Hearing all your tales I see now that you all are so much stronger than me because you have been through a lot worse than I. And you have survived.

it was when my devorce was in full swing and I'd actually been pretty depressed and was in the gunshop buying a pistol.... got scared and left it right on the counter. never bought the pistol and I'm glad too.
