It is time for lessons in how to treat a lady. If she talks about her ex then just listen and let her talk it out. Maybe she was still in love with him. You, sir, should have been a real man and had the guts to stick it out. After the date was over you should have shook her hand and said nice to meet you. Give her a second chance if you liked her and maybe things will work out. I think you were rather rude in your response and need to really grow up.
