I have seen a moose. Hit one once in my car. Maybe that's why I'm asking this. ok so here we go again: one goose, Two geese- one house , two hice? one mouse, two mice?
You are goddamn right I appreciate soldiers who have the guts to do their duty! i don't care what anyone else says Saddam, WMD's or not, had it coming to him and so did the Taliban. I say hate war but LOVE the Amercan Warrior (and tigger, the Canadian Warrior too!)
I just wanted to compliment all the people on this website by saying that so far you guys and girls have struck me as being much kinder and more intelligent than people on other dating websites. Some of them can get pretty nasty and i dislike that. so far everyone here has been kind and respectful and I just wanted to thank you all for that and making this such an enjoyable website. You all rule!!!
I'm sure he does. But i truly think that everytime we have adversity in our lives that it is the Devil who puts it there. At times like this God is the one who helps you along, who gives you the moral support so that you can hold on just a little longer and , in the end, make it through with flying colors. For every test life throws at us God lets us know that we CAN defeat it, that he loves us all, that he will ALWAYS be here for us. He wants us to succeed in life and I think takes great pleasure in his best creation (us, the World) when we do.
1. do you judge a person by their looks alone or do you get to know them a bit and then put the whole picture together?
2. I've always heard things like "this person is out of his/her league" based solely on physical appearance. I do not agree with this because it suggests that one person is better than another - a line of thinking that I do not approve of. What are your thoughts on this?
There are times in life when all seems to roll away out of control and you cry at the end of the day
Times when life seems to have you beaten pounding you back to the ropes I know this because There was a time When I'd lost all hopes
But i am back! And here to say I'm better than ever Because i did not give up that day.
i'm better, stronger, faster bionic if you will a man of iron who can , no matter how steep, climb any hill
I've been to Hell and back again with beaten body, battered hands shattered heart and soul but now fighting back hard living happy my goal
I've gone the distance, heard the final bell the fifteenth round ends and I'm still ready to fight like hell.
Sadness, depression, a painful divorce tried to beat me I've been to a darkened place scared, but put one foot down and then another and quickened the pace
whatever does not kill you makes you stonger so true my friends don't ever give up and win in the end!
I'll be right there with you buddy. We'd be the two knights, back to back, along side King Arthur, fighting to protect the beautiful fair maidens from all from the invaders.
"Daniel-san, Karate...here (points to head). Karate here (points to his heart). Karate never here (places his hands near his belt line). You understand?"
then off course who could forget "Wax on, Wax off"?
Karate Kid-who doesn't cheer for Daniel at the the end?
Rocky 2-The best of the series. So great to hear rocky say "yo Adrian!! I did it!!" Makes me cry every time.
Raiders of the Lost Ark-i like this one because no matter what happens Indiana Jones never gives up.
A Walk in the Clouds- I think Keanu Reeves is the worst, most overly paid actor on the planet but if you can successfully ignore him this turns out to be a wonderfully romantic, tender movie.
Crocodile Dundee-a great comedy with a sweetness that you just don't see in film anymore.
You wanted to be an astronaut? Funny I always wanted to be a launch pad! LOL! Just kidding. Seroiusly I've wanted to be a writer my whole life and about to have my first novel published!!! Dreams do come true!!
I just thought I'd bring this up and see what you all think. I guess I must be a bit old fashioned but I still believe that chivalry (opening doors for ladies, treating them with the utmost respect, and behavior of this sort) is important and I for one still practise these behaviors more because in addition to being polite behavior, treating a woman with respect - no matter what her age - makes me feel good. I'm divorced now but even when I was married I ALWAYS held the door open for my Ex.My question is this; ladies, and I am sorry if this is a stupid question but I'm just wondering, is chivilry important to you?
There is still at least one true Knight left in this world and he is me! I will do my darndest to keep chiviry alive and kicking.
I agree. If you don't take a chance every now and again, you may never reap the reward because you may have missed exaclty what it was you were looking for.
Not scared just careful. I've been through divorce and was still very much in love with my ex when she walked out on me. I went through the worst emotional hell a person could go through. But what you said about falling in love several times makes sense and i do think that the reason we fall is so that we can pick ourselves up and get stronger because of it. I think, though it was a horrible experience, my divorce was also part of a greater good because it helped me find a strength I never knew I had. That is a true treasure to find. Now, i never would have found it if not for the hell I had to face. it has taken me about three years to get to this point and I tell you, that, without sounding like I'm bragging, I am so proud of who i am and who I've become. You know why? Because I've been through a personal hell and survived it and I'm doing a few things i never dreamed of before and I'm achieving things that were only dreams a few years ago. My life is an open book of poetry and i finally feel like it is the best i've ever been.
question that's rather odd but bugging me
