it was when my devorce was in full swing and I'd actually been pretty depressed and was in the gunshop buying a pistol.... got scared and left it right on the counter. never bought the pistol and I'm glad too.

3 months ago, I was unemployed and didn't have my rent paid,I was 2 steps away from being homeless...then my church paid my rent and I got a job the next day. I empathize with the homeless and sometimes am even a little envious of them!

When getting up and going through the motions that were expected of me each day became unbearable and It scared me that I was setting that example for my daughter as to how to live your life - full of misery and disappointment. I needed to show her that there is so much better out there......you just can't give up, give in or settle.

With my ex and I it was when I got tired of us both screaming at each other with neither of us listening and the impending doom that if I didn't get out of the relationship that I would stay her puppet on a string. Like Pinnochio I was singing I am a real boy and I got no strings on me. There is more to life than fighting about everything. It got to the point of even saying good morning was the start of another world war. When two talk and nobody listens then in my book that isn't communication.

Colin thank you for your concern....but Wayne is right...the thread was when did you know you had reached your rock bottom...it was a long time ago..and as you can see that wasn't an option for me, so i had to get up and put one foot in front of the other and keep living...so here i am some 20 years later...still kicking it!!

That's what I like about my job,Rascal...hearing about different people's life experiences and how they got there...surprizingly enough,I could trust a homeless person with my stuff than someone in my own family!

My Rock bottom was 3years ago....and I will never forget it..
It will always serve as a shrine of darkness..reminding me daily of
the paths not to take...
BUT the struggle has forged me mentally emotionaly and spiritually...
so therefore I am gratefull for the struggles.
So to make a long novel short.....It's all to the groovy now

i have had a hard life, and have done what is right to fix it, beside what i wrote earlier, (and this is not something i talk about) i lost my baby boy, if you can't get up after that you have no charector, nor determination...i will be the best at what i do...forget sympathy, if you want it to happen, make it happpen, dust yourself off, and move on and try again.(thats what i did)
