At the end of the day, Politics is a dirty word and all the troubles around the world are wrapped up so deep that both sides are just playing games for their own agendas and the peoples are pawns to be used in this game.
The majority of the people in Afganistan dont want the Taliban they are being forced to accept them and stay quiet or the punishment is death. Take the example made of a 7 year old boy hung for "spying" this was really to punish his grandfather (a village elder) for opposing the Taliban.
If the west pulls out of Afganistan it will leave her people at the mercy of the armed fanatics.
Pakistan are waiting to get in and control Afganistan and help with their Trillion $ mineral deposites and more than anything continue the worldwide spread of Islam.
Fanatical Goverments are the last thing the region needs...
Im not wanting that they are pressured. Some sceintists in the past have been pressured with loss of funding.
I want the opposite, No pressure! people allowed to think and believe whatever they want without being pressured or Persecuted by anybody or any state.
