I have since read Conrads link and to be honest to me it makes a lot of sense but I suspect there are reasons why this isnt being done now.

Israel have been fighting a modern war for the last 30 years, the US and Britain have only started in the last 10 years.

I never said grunts wouldnt be needed.

You cant take General Pershing tactics and apply it to todays situations as the tactics and weaponry of the guerrilla fighter are vastly different.

Vietnam was a mistake.

Guerrilla warfare is hard to beat you have to fight fire with fire and expect to loose a large number of troops, something modern society is not willing to tolerate.

Guerrilla warfare came from the Apache, their tactics was used while the British had a thin red line. This idea of soldiers dressed in red and marching in a line sounds madness now.


Forget Guerrilla warfare unless you have no choice,
Forget irradiating the planet,
Forget nerve agents, as you need the hearts and minds of the people.

Diplomacy has to be the answer.

Trouble is every situation is different.

That sounds like the OBE that people have discribed when dying on the operating table and then being brought back to life.

Others have said they saw a cord connecting them to their bodies, I saw no such thing, I viewed the world in greyscale.

However I believe these are natural happening that science will explain eventually.
