as an outsider looking in i think he has made a huge improvement to kildare, i have been at a good few kildare games over the past few year and believe me ye are not far off the finished article, definitely a major improvement on croftons tenure, true i don't think kildare were at there best against down but in saying that take 4 points off any team in a game and it will have an effect, and still with the last kick of the game ye could have won it

two good wins so far though, a friend of mine was reffing the laois louth game last sat he was impressed with louth, they could be darkhorses i think dundalk colleges did well this year to in the schools

i think kildare need a leinster, over the past few year ye have been one of the best teams in the country but no throphy to show for it, oh i have no doubt that yere forwards will hit form, i don't think mcgeeney putsmuch effort into the league aslong as ye don't go down he seems to be happy enough and rightly so the championship is what it's all about

massive loss alright aswell as been a leader he is such an intelligent midfielder always knows when to catch and when to break it down

i have heard this is meant to be a very strong dublin team should be very interesting, i think there is a break for the leaving cert now, so that game probably wont be until late june

no your scoring rate has dropped from last year, but ye have tightened up at the back, kildare have played a great brand of football the past few years, there a great team to watch, ye seem to have a handy minor team this year too

for sunday i wouldn't be to worried about midfield, but it would be good to get a settled partnership for the next round, wicklow ahve a few good forwards, but a very dodgy full back line, if ye can get quick ball into the forwards i could see ye winning by 5 or 6 points

doyle in midfield? thats a big call from mcgeeny with flynn beside him i presume

a victim of there own success if you ask me, they got to big, 4 adult teams where they once had 2, its the same at underage way to many players individual coaching like you would get a smaller club goes out the window, there are signs this year that the might be coming with a decent team again

that was a great balto team, i remember eire og playing them in 92 in athy it was the end of that balto team on the leaister stage but the went down fighting

RE: Gosh ,maybe it's just me ,but I'm distressed.

well it would look like he got banned because of the isreal thread it seems to be a touchy subject here

RE: Gosh ,maybe it's just me ,but I'm distressed.

a forum ban is one thing but to remove him form the site was a bit harsh

RE: Gosh ,maybe it's just me ,but I'm distressed.

no i think it was the isreal thread that got him banned after that

RE: Optimistic 68

he was a good poster its sad to see him been banned

RE: Gosh ,maybe it's just me ,but I'm distressed.

i think it's a disgrace he got banned, it was a political thread i guarantee most of those that reported him never even post of them threads

RE: who would you like to see in heaven?

RE: britain

i thought you said you weren't irish

ireland in the commonwealth

im not sure i would put either dev or collins in that bracket, i think they were both involved in a power struggle and ireland suffered as a result

ireland in the commonwealth

i don't know if you were watching it but i was surprised at the audience reaction 20 year ago there probably would have been a riot

ireland in the commonwealth

michael collins kept us in the commonwealth im not so sure he would turn in his grave
