to me it means being thankful that I live in such a great country ... its also the date that those that apply for citizenship become official aussies .. as I did many many years ago

um...how do I celebrate it.... it varies because sometimes I work it and sometimes not.. this year I get the day off from my day program so I still get paid and I get to sleep in and can have an easy morning without rushing to get dressed or anything but I am doing a short shift in the evening which I dont normally do but I figure I get paid double time and a half so it will be worth it

if I was still in brissy with my family and friends I would probably go to a bbq somewhere or have one myself .. but here I will probably just lie in my hammock under the big shady tree in my backyard and do my puzzle book and just RELAX

when I was in my early 20's I was in a night club in Paddington in Brissy and was walking back from the dance floor along an aisle to where me and my mates were sitting

however... there was guys sitting along either side of this aisle with their legs poking out into the aisle and cos it was dark I couldnt see properly and tripped over one guys legs and ended up on my hands and knees with my face in the crutch of another guy .. I looked up at him and he said.. 'while your down there love'

I laughed but boy was I embarrassed

bad things I like are

baileys and milk yummmm

red wine and vodka soda & lime

men in black leather on motorbikes (yeah I know they may not necessarily be bad but they sure look like bad boys )

playing keno when I go to the pub (I only spend $5 as in $1 for 5 games but its still gambling )

cheese chees and more cheese.. to the point where is probaby isnt that good for me... but I just LURVE it lots

she is ok now.. she finally broke down yesterday when the enormity of what has happened hit her when she went to the house and looked in her bedroom window and saw nothing but the internal framework of the house
