I would head up about 3 times a year.

There is a program on TV3 this week some evening exposing the cost difference, might be worth a peek!!!!

I have a wee girl and times are tough... Santa is just around the corner and I will go up North to ensure the biggest smile is on her face Christmas morning...

I do not think it is the people hardest hit in this recession that is holding the country back,, that comes from higher up...

We all have little ways (sometimes a wee bit illegal) to save money...

However I do not agree with someone claiming 2 benefits or someone working and claiming benefit...

8 years ago my sister used to post me over Contact Lenses as I priced them over here and they were too expensive. Low and behold when I eventaually received my first package, they were made in Waterford.

6 years ago I went to Istanbul to get laser eye surgery, it cost me 350 euro after care and all. This would have costed me over 3000 euro over here, back then...

So do you think I have no principles, am I not dedicated enough to my country???...

Whatever needs to be done to catch social welfare cheats is acceptable (bar a camera in the bedroom)...

However I think all this should have been done in the height of the Celtic Tiger and not now when incomes are at their lowest...

Yes I think most of us cheat the system in some way, I know I will be heading up North this week to save money on Christmas presents... But sure didnt we learn from the best,,,, Our Government!!!!
