There are still tons of marriages that are long lasting in the USA..just because some end up finding themselves married to the wrong person and want to correct it by divorcing, doesn't mean the majority do it(divorce) just because they can. It's also not exclusive to the US

An 80+ friend of mine died tragically yesterday. He just got out of from a severe kidney infection and ran an errand to check on his hunting dogs(his wife driving). They were out of the truck and it started rolling. He ran after, fell, and got run over...
