I need a drink
I need a scotch
If you go get it
I'll let you watch
As I fall off my chair
and get back on
The lights go dim
Goodnight I'm gone

The Monaro is back
game over indeed,
The General's on top
Again it succeeds,
Now you have seen it
pass the ultimate test
And there's now no denying
that Holden's the best
What do you expect
from this wicked two door,
She carves up her rivals
when ya foot's on thee floor,
You can keep your Porsche's
and your Lamborghini's,
I want a Monaro
so I can eat Ferrari's

No one understands me
quite the way you do
and you seem to make me happy
when I'm feeling blue
You brighten up my life
in every single way
and you are the only one I love
every single day
You are beautiful and nice
sweet and so true
I still get weak at the knees
when I get a kiss from you
So I will tell you these words
no word of a lie
I will love you now and forever
even past the day I die
For we are kindred spirits
who were meant to be
No one else may understand
but they don't need to see
that what we have is special
that we are two close hearts
and I will do my best
to make sure that it never comes apart

Something happened back in 73'
A baby was born, oh yeah it was me,
The doctors said he won't last through the night
41 now God I'm glad they weren't right,
A very hard battle to get where I am
And if I was asked I would do it again,
I don't have a clue on how long I have now
Keep pushing forward won't throw in the towel,
This is a message that needs to be shown,
Happy or sad you're never alone!!!

I'm in a world of hurt,
nothing can be done
my girl decided to leave me
and now I'm only one
I really did my best for her
but that was not enough
it was like she wanted superman

so she said now it is over
and I don't know what to do
I just feel so cut inside
so sad and lonely and blue
I may never get over this
but I know I have to try
things happen good and bad
where you ask the reason why
so now I will just walk alone
I just have to let it be
and I may open my heart again
but we will have to wait and see

There's a lot of girls out there
To me no-one as beautiful as you
I love the day we met
The time is still deep in my mind
and I realize in my heart now

So glad you came and said hello
because I was real shy
But I'm glad you decided to take the time
to work out this guy

She called to say she's sorry
She wants us to remain
of course I let her back with me
I just hope it can be the same
I really love her dearly
that much I know is true
for when she broke us off
I felt pain I never knew
so I'm glad now that shes back with me
and all my pain is done
to me she is everything
and that shes the only one

It could be raining
or the sky maybe blue
It doesn't really matter
when I'm thinking about you
It is always lovely
to see you anytime
and I am really glad
that you decided to be mine
I know there are ladies out there
who would pass my test
but what would I want with them
concidering I have the best
Yes you're truly amazing
number one by far

On the mountain you go for blue or for red
The V8's fly past and they really turn heads
The track is Bathurst, It sorts the men from the boys
must have nerves of steel to race those V8 toys
It's Ford Vs Holden ! which one will it be
From beginning to end 1000 kilometres, we'll see
always a drama on track at this place
there's been a few times, they have had to stop the race
but it is really worth watching if the race goes all day
It's a must have to see for it will just blow you away

I felt like I was lost, lost out at sea
But then you came along
And you said hello to me
I realised at that point
I had found my long lost friend
You really make me happy
I want to be with you past the end
Our friendships going on 5 years now
The best 5 in my life
And I hope that maybe one day soon
That you will become my wife
But I do not want to rush you
For you mean the world to me
I wont ever let you down
I’ll be the best at what I can be
