I wrote your name in the sand !

I wrote your name in the sand but the waves washed it away
I wrote your name on my hand but I washed it the next day
I wrote your name on a paper but I accidentally threw it away
I wrote your name in my heart and forever it will stay.

Love Is Not Love Which Alters...

Let me not to the marriage of true minds
Admit impediments, love is not love
Which alters when it alteration finds,
Or bends with the remover to remove.

O no, it is an ever-fixed mark
That looks on tempests and is never shaken;
It is the star to every wand'ring bark,
Whose worth's unknown, although his height be taken.

Love's not Time's fool, though rosy lips and cheeks
Within his bending sickle's compass come,
Love alters not with his brief hours and weeks,
But bears it out even to the edge of doom:

If this be error and upon me proved,
I never writ, nor no man ever loved.

FEELINGS

apple spice
pumpkin sage
gerba
daisy
harvest
juniper breeze
candle flames lick
sweet champa air

valley heat
thermals rise
hawks o'er
angel's wings
your sun dress o'er
silky
flowing flaxen
joyous
fire
burning
out of control
teasing
the line between
ecstasy and insanity

soft touch
endless kiss
peaceful
presence
in my arms
playful laugh
or stoic silence

heart soaring
dizzying heights
precious moments
holding my breath
afraid to let it go

moments
so long ago
feeling
colorful visions
in a blindman's dream

(,,',,)- I Wandered Lonely As A Cloud -(,,',,)

I wandered lonely as a cloud
That floats on high o'er vales and hills,
When all at once I saw a crowd,
A host, of golden daffodils;
Beside the lake, beneath the trees,
Fluttering and dancing in the breeze.

Continuous as the stars that shine
And twinkle on the milky way,
They stretched in never-ending line
Along the margin of a bay:
Ten thousand saw I at a glance,
Tossing their heads in sprightly dance.

The waves beside them danced, but they
Out-did the sparkling leaves in glee;
A poet could not be but gay,
In such a jocund company!
I gazed—and gazed—but little thought
What wealth the show to me had brought:

For oft, when on my couch I lie
In vacant or in pensive mood,
They flash upon that inward eye
Which is the bliss of solitude;
And then my heart with pleasure fills,
And dances with the daffodils.

About this poem:
The speaker says that, wandering like a cloud floating above hills and valleys, he encountered a field of daffodils beside a lake. The dancing, fluttering flowers stretched endlessly along the shore, and though the waves of the lake danced beside the flowers, the daffodils outdid the water in glee. The speaker says that a poet could not help but be happy in such a joyful company of flowers. He says that he stared and stared, but did not realize what wealth the scene would bring him. For now, whenever he feels “vacant” or “pensive,” the memory flashes upon “that inward eye / That is the bliss of solitude,” and his heart fills with pleasure, “and dances with the daffodils.”

So close, yet just out of reach.

So close, yet just out of reach.
Every waking moment in wait for the sound of your voice.
The sheer joy felt when by your side,
Even when the taste of your lips is not to be.
The look in your eyes fuels a fire of desire
Memories of the love we have made…the love yet to come
Make the hours alone more bearable.
I am greedy…I want you for myself alone.
My appetite for your love insatiable…consuming.
My life has now been worth living,
For I have felt the passion of which all men dream,
The love that all humans crave.
I am yours alone.
My heart forever in your hands.
Until such time that we leave this earth
And our souls entwine until the ends of time.

(,,',,)-_-Where the Sidewalk Ends -_-(,,',,)

There is a place where the sidewalk ends
And before the street begins,
And there the grass grows soft and white,
And there the sun burns crimson bright,
And there the moon-bird rests from his flight
To cool in the peppermint wind.

Let us leave this place where the smoke blows black
And the dark street winds and bends.
Past the pits where the asphalt flowers grow
We shall walk with a walk that is measured and slow,
And watch where the chalk-white arrows go
To the place where the sidewalk ends.

Yes we'll walk with a walk that is measured and slow,
And we'll go where the chalk-white arrows go,
For the children, they mark, and the children, they know
The place where the sidewalk ends.

About this poem:
This poem gives an optimistic interpretation of life that offers people that are going through difficult personal challenges hope for the future by following the pathway to serenity. It could be suggested that the serenity of life is the eventual death of every living thing, which will restore it to a peaceful state.
