The Art of ME!

The Art of ME!

What is it about me that makes me giggle when I think how special I am to me?

Especially when I think of all the magic of me,

This magic that others sometimes, do not see!

Then there are times I reflect

The Art of Me can be so much more

Like catching up to you, or hoping to pass before.

What is it about me that knows I care

As I'm care for,

maybe more than I realize.

What is it about me to feel this creative strength.

A greatness inside

with enough to share.

Imagine

The Art of Me

Fills me with surprise and delight

Especially when I take moments

for further insight

That The Art of ME

lights my heart

because

At this moment,

In this time;

In my world,

It is all about The Art of ME!

A Feast for the Soul!

List of ingredients

Achievement, Dedication, Duty, Grace, Happiness, Integrity, Possibility, Principles, Strength, Vision, Well-being

1. Lightly blend the above ingredients in the big bowl of life.

2. Next, stir in the following (use portions as large as you desire because larger portions will greatly enhance the overall flavor)

I am for values
I want to enhance vision
I will to voice dedication
I can to the possibilities
I do to accomplishing goals

3. Mix well with your oversized care spoon.

4. Now, set the table with your best china. "My best china?" - Yes, use your best china, wear your favorite fragrance, and show off that expensive outfit that looks good on you. You are saving these for...?

5. Be sure to put out the side dishes of hope, joy, love and peace (and others you may want to serve – such as confidence, empathy, and forgiveness) to accompany your meal.

6. Now, here is the thing about this soul-stirring recipe. It is an old recipe been handed down from generation to generation. But, you know how we do it; we experiment by adding more of this and less of that. Just remember to flavor it to feed your soul by adjusting it how you like.

Serve generous portions and know there is always enough for seconds and thirds. If by chance, you have leftovers, know they will last your lifetime if properly stored in warm, loving and gracious lined containers.

Always, serve this meal with a tall refreshing prayer. Always!

7. Of course, no meal is complete without dessert. Add a huge slice of humble pie, in fact, have a second slice. And, yes, it is ok; in fact, it is a good thing if your second slice is larger than your first.

Merry Christmas Mom...

Merry Christmas Mom...

Tuesday, December 21, 2010
Rated "G" by the Author.

Don't go to the mall, they won't have "IT"...

The stores don't have it; - not even Super Wal-mart.

If I searched the entire world, I would never find a physical gift that would be perfect, that would convey my thanks for all the love, the support, the care, and the "just being there" and especially, most importantly, the precious moments shared.

Money can't buy it, it can't be wrapped, you can't even touch or hold it, but I think I can try and pass it on. So, my dearest mother, that is my Christmas gift to you and from you as I, a mother, too, try to copy you and all you do, to be the mother to mine like you've been to me.

I'm passing it on; the un-conditional gifts of love, laughter, caring, hope and good feelings I get from you every time I think of you, every time I speak to you and even every time I talk about you - that is my Chrismas present to you, to pass on the love you have for me to mine.

So, there's no wrapping paper to choose, no bow to attach because your kind of love, your graciousness and your generosity is too big and grand and no way will it fit, even the biggest box in the land.

Merry Christmas to someone God gave me the pleasure to call Mom.

Love, TR

A Dance With The Clouds!

Looking upward, I am momentarilly startled by the beauty and grace of the big puffy clouds resting on the blue canvas of the sky...

Ever so softly they move as in synchronized dancing of lovers and soul mates; maybe a spiritual happening.

The gentle, so gently sway evoking peace and harmony; lifting burdensome thoughts and pushing them away;

It's A Dance With The Clouds - a lingering kiss from God!

Remember, look up and appreciate A Dance With the Clouds, look up to receive that gentle caress from above...

Look up to revel in the greatness, the awe and the magnificant beauty performed by A Dance With The clouds.

Who Fights for Sunshine?

Who fights for Sunshine?

My daughter calls me Sunsine, not often, but enough to let me know I am special to her. I like that, and try to spread sunshine to all I meet, but sometimes I wonder, who fights for sunshine?

I think of relationships I've fought to keep. Yes, I realize people come into our lives for a season or a reason, but still I wonder, do I fight more, or am I just too easy?

Is it that only my child sees my sun and loves my shine? Are you asking these questions, hoping for answers, same as I?

Relationships end although my fighting to make them better, trying to keep the relationship improving and moving end, and then, to move on.

Yes, my move is a physical one, because you left mentally a while ago. I realize this fight is mine because who other than me fights for Sunshine?

I fight to keep you, my friend, even with your faults as well as my own. I reach out and found you when you left, although you knew I was here all the time.

I initiated times together and cared. Why didn't you too, fight for the Sunshine? Is it that some things are worth the fight, others are not worth the smallest mention of their plight?

The warmth of the sunshine is love. I am love and sunshine and sometimes find happiness as well as loneliness in simple acts that delights. And sometimes, when the sun goes down, I wonder who will fight for Sunshine?

God's Light! Short and sweet, it came to me in the middle of the night!

God's Light does not need batteries to perform - will let you see without turning them on - to show you the way in the middle of a storm shielding you from all harm.

God's Light is a way out of no way - shinning a bright and clear path taking us home.

God's Light will set your soul on fire and keep it burning strong.

God's Light will sustain any human element.

It' un-exhaustible and will never die!

Where would we be without God's Light?

A beacon sining through you and me

creating our way

to see!

God's Light - allowing us bask in its Gloriousness.

God's Light - I can see!

I Am An Influencer!

Not because I possess riches or fame,
But for the simple pleasure of doing
For another what I can.

The power to influence is not something new,
It really is something we all do.

The message here just makes it clear,
Do it on purpose and it becomes more dear.

I am an Influencer by design – it’s something deep inside…
That continues to shine – when it’s sharing time.

There’s great value to accrue,
Because
What you give out always comes back to you.

It’s a boomerang effect – so always select
To make someone smile
By going that extra mile.

What a humbling path,
Using my special gifts this way

I am an Influencer…

I can, and I do make a difference in people lives!

What Am I?

What Am I?

I can lift you up or drag you down.

I can creep up on you in an instant and change your mood.

I have the ability to make you doubt yourself or cause you to cry.

I can give you a boost of energy or discourage you.

I can create in you a great purpose or;

I can point out all the reasons why you will fail.

I am such a big part of you that you just go about your day taking me for granted.

This is not a good thing because I have the capacity to do so much for you, if you would just let me.

What Am I?

Now, I could go on and on, but I, more than anyone else know how smart you are - and know you are getting the picture.

Just remember - my job is to follow your lead.

I will always do as you please.

What Am I? I Am Your THOUGHTS!

So, decide today, in fact right now, to take better care of me and pay more attention to me,

and I promise,

together,

we will have an amazing journey.

The 8 Snippets

Known as scrap, fragments, odds & ends...
And other things creating a strange frame of mind,
Because everything changes over time,
Now the 8 Snippets of 2010 and beyond.

They are feel-good motivators that have spawned
To purposeful acts of sharing,
Not the negative stuff, let it be gone.

There is something special about growing
and
moving along the way.

Using your growth to help someone who may have gone astray,
Or, those needing a guiding touch just to improve their day.

Here you have them
8 actionable tools to elevate and motivate.
Know them as helpmates
when we use their platform to inform and transform.

Eight snippets to measure,
Eight snippets to treasure
Growth from helping, now that is a pleasure

Angels Today on Their Way!

Never doubt that Angels walk among us. They may look like you. They may look like me. They may look like the person behind the counter you dismissed or the person you shoved into rushing on the subway. They may be in a form you and I do not understand, least of all recognize.

The Angels among us do not flaunt their heavenly personae. Their wings may be tucked away and their halo may not glow. And, no, you won't see them dressed in white from head to toe.

Now, I wonder why this is so? Could it be that would be too easy, not allowing our true nature show? We truly need to know how we would respond to an Angel we do not know.

So, open your heart to believe and your soul to receive. Look for blessings along the way looking in a really special way for that heavenly class spreading their goodness and love around.

The man on the street corner, could he be an Angel this day? His tattered clothes and need for a bath makes most of us want to look away. Now, is he begging or is this his way of sharing?

The old woman with her cart piled high, mumbling and rummaging around her stuff. Is this her way of conversing with higher powers that be, the ones we are yet to see.

Just what do Angels look like; they could be you or me. Do not dismiss what you cannot see, because Angels, my dear, do walk along beside you and me.

Could it be their spiritual sphere is a mystery and they do not recognize their heavenly mission? If this is so, could you or I be an An gel in disguise. Does an Angel's power reside deep within our facade?

So, I ask, how to spot an Angel of today? How do you know them going about your way? Just be pleasant to all God's children, you may be in the company of an Angel on their way.

And, what about the words you say? Could a blessing come through your mouth blessing another's day? You may be that Angel of Today - an Angel on their way!
