When night falls
And your petals close
And you sleep
Where do you go my Rose?
In the world of your dreams
The future?
The past?
Or your own personal
Alternate reality?
A better Earth
Than this one..
Where hatred
Poverty, War & Lies
No longer exist
And you can safely roam
In that utopian World
In your dreamtime
Then the Sun Shall rise again
And you open your petals with a yawn
To face another day
In this cold reality we share
But I will be waiting
As always my Love
With a smile and a coffee
And a kiss

EAST & WEST
You are from the east
I am from the west
Are we so different
Let us see
I grew up wild and free
You grew up in a jail
But in my west
The Bankers made money
From me and took it too
As the price for their dreams
In your east
They dragged you to
Be part of their fantasies
Both halves with a flag
And a credo
And both liars
Each in their way
But now we can at least meet
The only barrier money
Not walls and wire now
Are we that different?
You make the call
And decide
If tenderness can grow
