For you, Goddaughter



It was a very special day
The call arrived out of the blew
Filled with an unspeakable joy
The reason I was overjoyed was you!

Your dad is my brother
And the best without a doubt
He is a very special man
One I could not live without.

Through your life he will be your hero
There through everything you do
Sharing every smile along the way
And he will be there for hard times too.

Your parents asked me to be your godmother
Something I never thought I would hear
My life is along way from perfect
But is so much better with you here.

I took a pledge on your christening day
To always do my best by you
And that promise I will always uphold
And I will be here for your brothers too.

You have brought so much joy to my life
And I treasure watching you grow
Just how much you have given me
No words can ever show.

Everything happens in its own time,
That’s just the way it goes,
Nobody can predict how things turn out,
What is to be, nobody knows.

All we have is the here and now,
To be the best that we can be,
Take each day as it arrives,
Let your dreams live free.

And take note of all that’s good in life,
Take every day at your own pace,
Try not to rush for tomorrow,
This is not a race!

Worrying never solved a problem,
It’s only a waste of a day,
Save your tears for something worth it,
Make the most of and live for today.

One day you will find it,
Exactly what you are searching for,
Life’s jigsaw will fit together,
And you will find peace for evermore.

Until that day arrives though,
Make the most of all you do,
Don’t waste a single second,
The only person you can be is you!

Sometimes when i am Lonely,
And feel so very low,
Its then I want to give up on Life,
In my head i hear "No",

I hear that voice of reason,
Coming from deep within my Heart,
Its shouting " You have come so far"
And you are here to play your part,

Take a look around you,
See those will get you through,
They are the ones that love and care so much,
And you need them as much as they need you,

The voices are always there,
When you get to Lifes brick wall,
No matter how strong something seems to be,
Everything is at risk of a fall.

We are all human,
Each with different things to bear,
But although we differ greatly,
There are also things we share.

Each of us has a path,
That makes us who we are,
The countless situations,
Many moments that leaves a scar.

Always try to lend a hand,
To others along the way,
Live with your eyes wide open,
And make the most of everyday.

Everyone has a load to carry,
Each their own cross to bear,
But focus more on what’s good in life,
Not so much on what seems to be unfair

Dearest Jesus up above,
Give my Daaddy a great big hug,
Look after him Lord
And dont leave him alone,
Because Day by Day I Miss him,
Because He is far away from home..

There is a pain beyond imagining,
Burning in my heart,
For suddenly my whole Life,
Has been cruely ripped apart,

For when i ask for reasons?
Or ask the question Why??
It makes no sense at all!!!
That one sooo special had to die!

Your resting place i often visit,
Flowers i place with care,
No-one knows the heart ache,
As i have to turn and leave you there!

Lok after him lord,
As he takes his rest,
For he is my Fiance,
And one of the Best..

A Fiance is a special gift,
That i thought would last forever,
I never thought that day would come,
When he would be gone forever,

I lost my lifes companion,
A life linked wih my own,
Everyday i miss him,
As i walk through life alone,

For those of you who have a Fiance,
Treat him with tender care,
You will never know the pain,
When you turn and he is no there,
