I am cutting out the west coast portion of my trip. I will stop going west at Yellowstone National Park. I will re-calculate my trip east in about a week and figure out if I can make it. I will let y'all know soon. I am hoping it will work out that I can get there.

I just checked and it is 8 1/2 hrs and 573 miles for me. Don't know about traveling that far alone. Since I am not familar with the area. But I will see if I can get my best friend to make the trip with me.
I would love to meet everyone and to be able to sit and talk to Dru. I will let you know if I can make it. But if someone close to me would like a rider or like to ride with me that would be great!

You can do it....as long as there are telephone poles and lines, you are always in civilization. (anyway, that's what grandpa always said)
I've learned to back track, forward track, side track and when all else fails stop at every service station along the way to ask directions.

I've taken off and done some long distance type meet ups by myself.
But I tend to get side tracked easily as well. I see a nice bar with some good looking guys outside and I just pull in.
Wished that you would have been able to make the trip as well. I would love to meet you.
