Depends on whether you're looking for a hotel right in the city centre S or are happy to stay a little out of town. Some great value to be had on the outskirts.
Orla2010: I have the hotel booked so I could always just turn up with my long lense camera at Massimos and get lots of incriminating photos while undercover

Stick to Jurys Hotel on the Spanish Arch, its fairly kippy but clean!! You can't beat it parking next door & reduced rates for residents and walking distance to everything... I assume we'll have a wee party late into the night... so its not like you'll see much of it!! I can't remember its probarly bout €70 or was when I stay there for xmas bash every yr...

Its not that cheap Crazied...just looked it up online there and its quoting e165 room only!

I was looking online last night,there where a few places from between 69 and 89 euro excluding charges etc....carlton was one of them......there's always the hostel at a knock down price of 29 euro....ya wont get better than that!

The last time I stayed in hostel was years ago in Perpignan ... I nearly had a nervous breakdown when I realised the showers were communal

Yep...think I will! Theres a beautiful spa there as well so I'm gonna make a weekend of it and have a few treats too! Looking forward to it now! Havent signed up just yet just in case...but am fairly sure I'm gonna make it!

From what I remember The Imperial is no Waldorf Astoria but as long as the bed is comfy and the shower is powerful I don't mind

The Carlton isn't bad at all. 5 minute taxi or 25 minute walk from town...
