Difference between COMPLETE and FINISHED
I thought I would share and interesting thing I heard some time back...most of u may already know it..but I just thought it might again bring a smile to you face..No English dictionary has been able to explain the difference between the two words COMPLETE and FINISHED, in a way that's easy to understand. Some people say there is no difference between COMPLETE & FINISHED
-thats what Merriam-Webster says..
however, this gives us a perfect answer,
When you marry the right one, you are COMPLETE.....
And when you marry the wrong one, you are FINISHED....
And when the "right one" catches you with the "wrong one", you are .....
COMPLETELY FINISHED!
guys/gals..you are free to share your own definitions or experiences..
take care all

you got my head spinning..
I like the perspective you are giving though
Lets say you are building a model engine for a show and you have sent to the factory for the kit, if the factory does not send the complete set of parts in the kit then your model may never be finished on time for the show.
If you now try to swap the two words around the sentence would not make sense....
...
agree, I guess, the problem for ppl is giving definitions for those 2 words..
if we use it contextually, it makes perfect sense
Please don't take the comment I made on my blog about your name seriously.
wish you a nice weekend!!!
