A hologram of the late rapper duets with Snoop Dogg on stage – prompting the question: which other pop stars would you like to see similarly resurrected?

bodleing: Apparently unlike the Tupac 'performance' this is not a hologram.
It seems the audience in the Elvis show could only see him if they watched the screens at the side of the stage, whereas in the Tupac show he was there in full view of the audience.

Hi Bodleing--Have you ever seen the music video of Hank Williams Jr. & Sr. together ("There's A Tear In My Beer") which is neat because when HW Sr. died Jr. was just a very small boy--

Hi Rohann, just had a look for that but couldn't find anything.
It was probably done the same way as the Elvis one. It's called Rotoscoping.
Rotoscoping allows you to take one image from a pre-existing piece of video and puts him a whole new environment, but as I mentioned earlier, this has to be projected onto a screen, the Tupac show was a hologram of the performer on stage.

Google "Hank Williams Jr. video with Hank Sr." and it'll take you right to it-- (it's worth the look---interesting, and somewhat of a 'pioneer' in this art form.

Found it...
But not a hologram, like the Elvis one, could only be watched on a screen.

The time will come when we won't be able to have any confidence in what we see.
