I guess the cool answer would be "yes",...but over the years I find, unless it is a matter of survival, I have become somewhat set in my culinary ways,....I have for the most part, discovered what I enjoy,....then again,....tempt me, dare me,....maybe,....

Have you ever backpacked for more than a day?

Hi Kenn! I hope all is well!

My bucket list is a long one! However, next week, I get to cross one item off,...not for a week,....but the first of four two week tours of duty! I always wanted to get up in the sky to fight fire....yes,...I have been in a helicopter to fight, but was never involved with the heavy-hitters....the tankers.....next week is my very first shift as an "old" rookie Bird Dog with Group 3 - 4 CL-215T tankers! (Yup, excited and scared,....this will shake my old bones up!)

Yes,...I have posted this one before,....but it is indedd the BEST CL-215 video I have ever seen....

An old, silly question,....but if you had but a single wish,....(and no wishing for more wishes), what would it be?

If I had one wish, it would be to see my mom again.

My question is: if you could be anywhere in the world, where would that be?

I hope not, but they were elected so I'll reserve judgement.

My question: If you are at a CFL game and surrounded by people wearing watermelons on their heads, which team is the home team?

A: yesterday we had rain the size of golf balls and a very cold north wind. Five degrees cooler and it would have been snow.cold

Q: Last weekend I flew to Ottawa and drove back to Alberta.I couldn't wait to get out of Ontario and back on the Prairies where I could actually see where I was driving. What to you prefer, the winding roads of Ont. or B.C. or the longs straight roads of the Prairie Provinces???wave

I have only been in Quebec, driving to Ontario and back to Montreal. dunno

For me, I prefer the countryside where I grew up - hills and woodlands. I moved to a place where I have this instead of a flatter tillage area. smile So winding roads for me.

What is important for you in regards to your living area?

A: Hi KNenagh, bouquet My city is the last major city before the Saskatchewan Border and is only an hour drive to the U.S. Border. And we can't forget the long straight Highways.

Q: My Daughter is here so it has become Organic and Free Range products on the menu. Do you think this is all it is shown to be or just a cash grab for the producers supplying the produce???dunno

Q: When was the last time you went to a live music gig and who was it you saw? Open mic in the pub doesn't count

I went to a what was supposed to be a sock hop in Horsefly a few weeks back, but it was more a blue grass group. They were ok. Before that a few years ago I saw Chilliwack at our rec centre here which holds only about 200 people. It was a nice personal experience.

What is the most hours you would drive a day to get to a destination say if you were on holidays?
