A: I tell my children not to spend money on me for Xmas. The best present they can give me is to see them and to be able to share time with them during the Holidays.

Q: During the Festive Season I always try to wish everyone a Merry Xmas. It seems like there is getting to be less and less of that and sometimes it feels like most will reply only out of obligation. What is your take on this, perhaps has the commercialization of Christmas taken away the true meaning of it??? dunno santa waving

Yes I get mostly Texans which is odd since my profile reads NFLD, They don't even know I'm actually inside US until I tell them. Very few Canadians ever contact me which was the whole point lol

The only Christmas desert I generally make every year is a cherry cake, heavy on butter and sugar, like a really good pound cake full of cherries. Everything else I make is more or less on a whim of what I feel like doing that year :)

If you had one dish you had to eat for a week straight, what would it be?grin

A: The key words being "had to" my answer would be Macaroni and Cheese. In my younger and more foolish days sometimes the only thing in the cupboard was Mac and Cheese. LOL

Q: Growing up there were always many Xmas cards hanging around the tree. This year I have just gotten one. Do you still send out Xmas cards to friends and family???santa waving

Merry Christmas Kenn! I mailed a couple of cards to family and gave some to my coworkers, but hey around here the cards are just a couple as well. The cost of sending a card is crazy these days, so might as well pick up the phone and give that $1 more bang for your buck!

I remember as a kids receiving lots of cards around Christmas time - seems that all the traditions are changing over the years.

What's the one holiday movie that you definitely don't want to miss watching?

Only sheep let a commercial holidays rule their life, so no.

In Napoleon Hills Book titled "Think and Grow Rich" Mr. Hill talks about the sixth sense and how this sense is closely related to the act of prayer. Do you think its moral to pray for wealth?

moral...?
hmmmmm.....let's ask jabez....laugh

i haven't read the book (either of them), but i don't think sixth sense and prayer are the same at all. one requires belief in a god, and one doesn't.
jmo

prayer
noun
a solemn request for help or expression of thanks addressed to God or an object of worship.
(requires a belief in a god)

6th sense
sixth sense
noun
a supposed intuitive faculty giving awareness not explicable in terms of normal perception.
(does not require a belief in a god)

Well I'm usually sleeping or getting ready for work for sunrise, so will say sunset.

Has anyone paid it forward to you? (My neighbors plowed my driveway)

A: In my younger and more wild days I did have someone who didn't need to pay it forward to me when I needed it most.

Q: What is one meal that you enjoy that you will make when you have a craving for something you haven't had in a long time??
