Dusk, a lullaby of hidden desires with faster breathing drunken hopes. Dusk, aurora touch with the smell of promises. Dusk, a touch of wind on the skin the sensitivity of giving. Dusk receiving every particle our existence.

This is about all the events in life that happen that are out of our control. If things didnt go your way then you have to take action to either adapt to the situation or take steps to rid yourself of the burden. My original intention when i wrote this was to come off as aggressive and fed up, but ive learnt not to push too many powerful feelings across to the reader and let them substitute their own.
I wrote this poem, after witnessing a fairly violent rainstorm, the beauty of the silence, before and following it, and the awesome happenings of nature in between inspired me ! I wrote it in 1969, while expecting my 1st. child, my dear old freind a poet himself, Raymond Trowbridge was part of this inspiration.

Its about how some guys like to hide their pain in front of their friends and girls. But i just want to know why some guys are so proud to the point where they think tears are for weak people. Im saying why hide something so beautiful and true?
