On Sensitivity
Author: Unknown
Being sensitive by nature's,
A blessing and a curse,
For to feel things very deeply,
Means pain can be much worse.
Being sensible about this,
I think you will agree,
That all the hurt is worth the joy,
Of sensitivity.
Insensitive means heartlessness,
And that we can't abide,
So we must take the bad with good,
From feelings deep inside.
If I should give my love to you,
Just so you are aware,
My heart is very sensitive,
Please handle it with care.

Thanks hedi! I agree that we should do this but am not usre how to proceed. I don't actually have a publisher. The only thing I have ever had published was my poem A Silver Ponytail, which I posted on here long ago, and that was published in a Writer's Digest collection from a contest I entered. If anyone out there has a publisher or agent that we could work with, please chime in!
Thanks Ladybee! Your gracious comments are always valued.
Thanks GH, insightful as always!
