Tender White Clouds

Tender white clouds
suspended in blue jewelled sky
hovering overhead
a protective canopy
holding rain
let not a drop fall
to spoil my picnic
long, lush green grass
about bare feet
swaying red poppies
dancing with butterflies
nature's carpet unfurls
for miles around
no heavy breath of traffic
no shrieks or screams
just the whisper of wisdom
from tender white clouds

Rainforest

The desperate trees have no place to go
But true to their nature, their feelings don't show
The cows are now grazing, which suits me just fine
But too many people have no place to dine
Diverting the water was also a coup
What salty solution did they leave for you
This menu we've chosen
To kill and be killed
Who pays for the damage
Our children are billed.

mansoon

I feel cool inside,
When it rains out side.
And it remains wet everywhere,
Nobody is hurry to go anywhere.
It sounds like a melody
That flows very slowly
And very care, it doesn’t hurt anybody.
When it rains, I feel blessings
We get for six months
And more, it never gets everywhere.
I know, some where in this world
People waiting for rain,
Even they couldn’t get a cup of water,
But we have lot of it
And careless about it.
I wish to share it
But I couldn't do it.
I pray for them to get it as we have here...

Solitude Found

Solitude Found

When a winter’s harsh voice subsides
rainbows crown fields and riversides
as the water feeds the earth to show
how nature’s seed of peace will grow.

Here a new garden by the river blows
as springtime in all its glory shows,
sweet blossoms blushing upon the clay
preparing for a Summer’s harvest day.

Songbirds descend upon my secret place
as peace of mind adorns my happy face,
and as I rest upon the fertile ground
‘tis solitude here, at last, I’ve found!

circleof life

for every tree that sheds its leaves.
for every fire that burns its lot.
for every lightning bolt that ripes though the sky, a drop of rain will surelly pass us by.
only not in vain or in sorrow the darken skies shall weep, only to nurish a seed, a tree has sown beneth our very feet.

then once again the sun will shine and the birds will sing.
rejoicing the gift of life that every new day may bring.

Jack

He breathes ice-lace on glass;
leaves dew-crystalled footprints
on stiff green grass.

The Game

It started as a game
Between two who were in love
Not thinking of the consequences
Or what it would conceive of

Thinking in the moment
Not looking at what’s right ahead
Not thinking of the nearby sin
Of which they both will dread

Playing the game of love
Thinking nothing could go wrong
When it was the options of a life or a sin
The lovers had to be strong

They had to decide whose life they wanted
The baby’s or their own
For if the baby came into the world
They would have struggled and this was known

On the other hand if they chose to kill
The child that was soon to come
They would have suffered an immortal sin
Now to a decision they must succumb

The game of love that the lovers played
Should have been ended from the start
So much trouble from the lovers’ game
With so much pain on the heart
