The Star (Zvezda)
So many times I asked myself
What for I was born into this world and grew up
And why the clouds float and rains pour
You shouldn't expect anything for yourself in this world
I would fly up to the clouds but I have no wings
That starlight lures me from afar
But it's hard to reach the star though the goal is close at hand
And I don't know if I 'll have enough strength for the throw
I'll wait just a little bit more
And then will get ready for my journey
Towards the Dream and Hope
Oh my star, please don't burn out, just wait!
How many paths do I have to go by?
How many peaks should I conquer to find my own self?
How long should I keep falling from the cliff?
How many times should I start from the beginning and is there any sense to it?
I'll wait just a little bit more
And then will get ready for my journey
Towards the Dream and Hope
Oh my star, please don't burn out, just wait!

Give me some rain to
wash away my pain,
give me some dope
because i have no hope,
give me some drinks so
i don't have to think,
give me enough drugs
that i would think i could
fly than i'd die.

On a lonely road down surrey
She walked slowly not in a hurry
She walked so slowly coz she had great worries
such worries that had no boundary, she lost a lover that used call her honey
He beats her all thru the nite
never tells her am sorry
When the midnite came i blocked my ears coz the beating made her screaming
I could not have a dream
Coz if i dream i'l see a lady,tears,screams
Men please treat your ladies like queens...By Cute Cupid

Angel has been burned.
Falling with smoking wings.
Earthbound she is spurned.
On and on till it stings.
Heaven forgets her face.
As she crashes into ground.
With outstretched arms knowing,
She'll never be found.
And yet,
No one cries for her.
No one sees her pain.
No one comes,
To pull her out,
No one extinguishes the flame.
No one hears her pleas.
Nothing to sustain.
No one stops the screaming,
Of an angels shame.
Burning feathers catch the breeze,
Like fireflies from hell.
Littered across the spot,
Where an angel once fell.
The earth's flesh split,
To receive the unearthly gift.
Pulled deep into her bosom,
In absence of heavenly lift.
And yet,
No one cries for her.
Only I see her pain.
No one comes,
To pull her out,
No one extinguishes the flame.
No one hears her pleas.
No one to sustain.
Nothing stops the screaming,
Of an angels shame.

Unto where has this lengthened breath of air taken me?
Unto who shall I obey, for my life has said to be free?
Unto what shall I maketh of my dull and lifeless soul?
In this darkened rivalry of heat versus cold.
And how does it come to pass that I lie here awake?
My emperor of thoughts, sole ruler of the fake,
With my heart of desired passion for the one I truly love
With the tales of wisdom, kept only by the above.
Where shall I be when the clock trikes "time up"?
Still condemning my shadow, drinking from the devil's cup?
Still hiding behind eyes that just would not see,
Yet eyes that were open only, to the planes of misery.
When shall the sounds of silence enter my sleep?
That for which my heart will not allow me to keep,
When shall my heart beat as one with perfection?
Deafening the howling drones of unforgiving rejection.
For I am but one, lost within many
For I am but many, lost within one
I am two at a time, with none by my side
I am but a soul in the dark, yet one will not hide.

About this poem:
This was a very confusing time for me, i had so many unanswered questions and distorted beliefs about life and myself. I was battling to sleep, crying all the time, it was a difficult time too, but thankfully, that has all gone away, as this was many years ago.

Born 15 years ago,
Premature - palm sized,
You struggled to grow.
God gave you great parents,
Who never abandoned you,
They fed you tirelessly,
Although you could not swallow.
Now you watch in silence,
No words are said,
You just make sounds,
Unintelligible to the human head.
Not that you are stupid,
Not that you have no feelings,
Just you, Serena, watching,
Watching everyone, some wicked.
I suppose God sent you here for a purpose,
You must be a lesson we should all learn,
You persevere no matter what,
When we all give up so soon here.
Serena, Baby Serena,
You shall remain a baby forever.

About this poem:
This poem is dedicated to my niece who has down syndrome. When I heard of the premature delivery, I lost my way to the hospital. I was obviously upset. And now, just plain sad.

we were born alone, and some of us die alone, no friends no family.many of us turn to love or companionship wanting to be hold, to be touch, the feeling of someone near how i wish you were there.

Why am I not enough?
Why must you seek beyond?
It's all in you hands,
And still you break that bond.
When did I fade from you,
Like an apparition in the wind?
When will the final blow,
Make it impossible to mend?
Somewhere in the darkness,
I lie awake and think of you.
Somewhere in the darkness,
I wonder why we're here.
Bleeding inside,
Someplace to hide,
Somewhere in the darkness.
Why do you cry to me?
What more do you need?
I give it all to you,
I cut myself and bleed.
When did it all come apart,
And turn into my own hell?
When will you want me?
When will you not rebel?
Somewhere in the darkness,
I lie awake and think of you.
Somewhere in the darkness,
I wonder what is true.
Bleeding inside,
Someplace to hide,
Somewhere in the darkness.
