Ideas are more dangerous than guns.
Going to countries different of ours we must follow their rules to avoid problems or not.
Being in Arab countries I have dressed with the Shilaba (long dress) and have my hair covered with a light pashmina as a respect for their way of living.
Going to N Korea would not be a destination chosen by me.
I watched a programme on the telly awhile back about an American man fighting in South Korea who was romancing a girl he met ,,it wasn't allowed and he went on the run heading towards North Korea, they picked him up and he is still living in North Korea, with wife and family,he adopted himself into their lifestyle and learnt the language ,so they would accept him..he has two sons,,,there are other American soldiers that crossed over to North Korea also,..some of them dead now,,,

In response to: He's not fooling. An American is a prisoner in North Korea for leaving his bible in a hotel roomhttp://www.cnn.com/2014/09/01/world/asia/north-korea-ripley-americans-interviewed/index.html?hpt=hp_t1
What is an American doing in North Korea in the first place?
Is he one of those testy missionaries who have no respect for other cultures and values?
Did he leave the bible there on purpose?
Lots of questions to answer before I decide what to think about this.
