your right - people just can't let it go! I think he is a good President that came in a time in American history to tackle some of the changes - healthcare, national security versus privacy with new technology, and immigration reforms and a huge debt left by the previous President who was a warmonger.

and you should read how many senseless rapes and killings are occuring in Scotland, the land that I love, and that country just have over 5 million population compared to the USA with 308 million.

we humans are a violent lot.

I was lucky to experience Halloween in Salem Mass - including a lovely witches ball and then a costume ball at the Hawthorne in with all the students from the arts school down from Boston. There were some great costumes including Edward Sissorhands at the time. My favorite was this guy dressed in a suit and when you looked at the side and back he was a skunk!.... There was even a herd of cows... they were udderly charming. there was a deck of cards... of course butterflies and men with nets trying to catch them... there was a can of soup and crackers.... gangsters, phantom of the opera, romeo and juliet, a lady in a show, pilots, judges, old time police officer -

Too people in their cars on the road ahead of me every day while I commute to and from work - and when there is a car stalled on the side of the freeway everyone slows down to look to see who it is - as if they would actually stop and assist - which they don't.... so they need to move along or get out of my way.

I thought at one time I would love to have a "house-husband" - that is a man who stays at home (maybe an artist or some other creative type) and I would earn the living for the both of us.....


well now that I am getting close to retirement.... 6 years and counting..... I still want that....

Money is not so important except more of it can allow more choices and possibilities -

however I am still interested in men that have a purpose and responsibilities and contribute in the world - whether it makes them a scad of money or not - it is not important - that they are involved in life - that is important.

may I add another thought to this thread on love or the idea of "pre-love" online.

I have found that there are people I have met in person that became instant friends - kindred spirits. and there are people I have communicated on line with and discovered a compatibility that when we met in person, in real life we were friends - of course this has always been about the woman I have met and become friends with this has not happened in finding a male love interest.

However I think the online way to communicate with people can weed out unsuitable sorts and can help open lines of communication with those you feel an interest in - then of course you must meet if there are any feelings to develop.

So here a toast to "prelove"
