i would give 2i a lovely 3 bdrm house, with a backyard garden, a pond, a separate garage. it would also have a separate working studio for handiman work or whathave you. it would have some privacy, be in a safe neighborhood and have a great view.
oh! and quiet neighbors...no barking dogs either....
it's not just about education...it's about poverty.
it costs more to eat healthy.
it's also about discipline.
it's a lot more work to prepare healthy flavourful meals than going through a drive through.
it's about time. too many working couples with kids are at work all day coming home exhausted because their workload has tripled, but they need the double income to just get by.
i've been on both sides of jealousy...and i don't like either...
something that i found helpful..
check your intent, and accept you can't control anyone else. is your intent to be loving... or is your intent to control another person and protect yourself from your own fears (anger, blame, withdrawal, mind games)?
choose things that make you happy. be around folks that make you happy. spend your time doing things that make you happy. stick with the folks that support and empower you. pay attention to how you are feeling and make choices that you enjoy.
i've heard this before...but your heart is not broken.. people are not broken...
it's all part of your experience, and what you do with it is your choice. change your perception, change your reality.
have you heard of 'kintsugi'?
it's the japanese custom of repairing broken pottery with gold, and it is based on the philosphy of kintsugi which treats the repair as part of the history of the object and enhances it. it's about embracing the flawed or imperfect in not only objects, but also in ourselves.
so we aren't broken, but sometimes we need time to accept the changes in our lives.
it doesn't really matter to me if they actually exist...what matters to me is listening to my heart rather than my ego... and when i listen through my heart, i feel other hearts, and i believe there are angels among us.
salsa........yum! specially this time of year as we can get most ingredients from the garden or fresh in the markets. home grown tomatoes are the best! it's near impossible to make a good salsa with the gmo in canada.

you've been missed and i reitorate your comment... i like banter as much as the next person, but there's a time and place for it. too often, folks go off topic for the sake of banter and the whole point of the thread gets hijacked. it would be nice if folks kept their banter to the chat threads and let some interesting forum topics develop. we've lost a lot of intelligent, thoughtful posters to this.
if you believe that you are too old at 52 to be a good lover, then by all means be governed by your own myopia.
whether you are a generous lover enjoying the pleasure you bring to your partner, or simply humping another like a blow-up doll for your own gratification, has nothing to do with age, but rather awareness and intention.
RE: What would you give the person above?
if i could...i would give 2i a lovely 3 bdrm house, with a backyard garden, a pond, a separate garage. it would also have a separate working studio for handiman work or whathave you. it would have some privacy, be in a safe neighborhood and have a great view.
