Born Again! Pt. 3

I DON'T CARE HOW MUCH EDUCATION YOU HAVE, how much of an ORATOR you are, if you haven't got the FIRE, it profits nothing! If you haven't got the FIRE, it's just cold dead ICICLES of facts & figures--no warmth, no heat! You'll never set anybody on fire without it! 1 Corinthians 13 DBB (paraphrased)

16. THAT'S WHY JESUS DIED, BECAUSE WE'RE ALL SINNERS & IT WAS IMPOSSIBLE FOR US TO BE PERFECT, it was impossible for us to keep God's perfect laws like the Laws of Moses, impossible! No man can keep the Ten Commandments, it's just impossible! Only Jesus was perfect & that's why He could pay the price of our sins & God could forgive us, because He took our punishment for us. He was the only One Who was perfect, & that's why He could give us Salvation as a gift, because we could never earn it, we could never be perfect, we always make mistakes & commit sins!--You!--And me!

17. IT'S JUST LIKE A PARDON: GOD HAS OFFERED PARDON TO THE GUILTY, & it doesn't matter how bad you are, how wicked you are or what you've done--it doesn't matter to God! If you'll just confess your sins to Him, ask Him to forgive you & take Jesus into your heart, He'll save you!

18. YOU COULDN'T LIFT YOURSELF UP BY YOUR OWN BOOTSTRAPS, YOU COULDN'T SAVE YOURSELF, YOU COULDN'T BE GOOD ENOUGH, IT'S IMPOSSIBLE! If you were good enough to be saved, you'd be God Himself!--But you're not God, neither am I. We're all sinners, we have all sinned, we all need His love & mercy to be saved, & we find that love & mercy in Jesus Christ!

19. WE CANNOT SAVE OURSELVES BY OUR OWN WORKS, our own goodness, our own attempts to keep His laws & to love Him, or even our own endeavors to find & follow His Truth! Salvation is a gift of God performed by a miraculous transformation of our lives when we accept His Truth in the Love of His Son Jesus by the work of His Holy Spirit.

20. "FOR BY GRACE ARE YE SAVED THROUGH FAITH; & THAT NOT OF YOURSELVES: IT IS THE GIFT OF GOD!--Not of works, lest any man should boast!" (Eph.2:8,9) You cannot save yourself no matter how good you try to be! You can't be good enough, you can't be perfect enough to earn, merit or deserve the Heavenly perfection of His Own Holy Salvation by His Own grace, love & mercy!

21. THERE'S NOTHING YOU CAN DO TO GET IT EXCEPT JUST RECEIVE IT BY FAITH!--That's all! You can't be good enough, you can't work hard enough, you can't get it no matter how hard you try! You just have to let go & receive it from the Lord! You have to humble yourself & acknowledge that you don't deserve it, that you're just a lost sinner, & that there's no way you can get it except just by the grace of God!

22. WE RECEIVE SALVATION AS A PURE GIFT, NOT BECAUSE WE'RE GOOD ENOUGH or because we deserve it or earn it, & not by any works we have done or any works of the law or law-keeping. But we get Salvation just because He loves us & He gives it, & all we have to do is just believe & receive, nothing else.--It is the gift of God!

23. BUT MANY PEOPLE ARE TOO PROUD TO ACCEPT A GIFT. They want to work for everything they receive.--That is the religion of most of the churches, that if you're good enough & go to church enough & all the rest, you can save yourself. But that's a lie! No amount of church-going or masses or prayers or anything else is going to save you, only Jesus saves! "For there is one God, & one Mediator between God & men, the Man Christ Jesus!" And "neither is there Salvation in any other: for there is none other name under Heaven given among men, whereby we must be saved!" (1Tim.2:5; Acts 4:12)

24. ONLY JESUS CAN FREE US FROM SIN & ITS POWER & ITS CONDEMNATION!--"For if we confess our sins, He is faithful & just to forgive us our sins, & to cleanse us from all unrighteousness! For the blood of Jesus Christ His Son cleanseth us from all sin!" (1John 1:9,7)--No matter what you've done!

Born Again! Pt. 2

Embedded image from another site

But as it is written, Eye hath not seen, nor ear heard, neither have entered into the heart of man, the things which God hath prepared for them that love him - But God hath revealed them unto us by his Spirit: for the Spirit searcheth all things, yea, the deep things of God. 1 Corinthians 2:9, 10 KJV

God loved you so much that He gave Jesus to suffer for your sins, to take the punishment & the judgement that you deserve for you. "In this was manifested the Love of God toward us, because that God sent His only begotten Son into the World, that we might live through Him." (1John 4:9) Jesus is the manifestation of the Love of God.

9. "OH, WHY CAN'T YOU JUST LEAVE JESUS OUT OF IT?" SOME PEOPLE ASK. "Why do you have to use that Name? Why does He always have to be the symbol? Why can't you just say God, & speak of God only? Then we could accept it much easier, if you wouldn't insist on using that name of Jesus!"

10. "WELL," I USUALLY REPLY, "WHY NOT?" If He really is God's Son, & God has chosen Jesus to reveal Himself to the World & to show His Love, then God Himself has insisted on it!--"Love Me, love My Son!" These are God's conditions, not ours. "Whosoever denieth the Son, the same hath not the Father: But he that acknowledgeth the Son hath the Father also." (1John 2:23) God has insisted that we recognise & love His Son, & Jesus Himself said, "I am the Way, the Truth, & the Life, no man cometh unto the Father, but by Me!" (John 14:6)

11. SO ALL YOU NEED FOR SALVATION IS JESUS! We can't even comprehend God the Father, He's too great a concept for us to even dream of! "As high as the Heavens are above the Earth, so high are His ways above our ways & His thoughts above our thoughts; & even the Heaven of Heavens cannot contain Him!" (Isa.55:9; 1Kings 8:27) None of us can really grasp how great & how marvellous & how wonderful God our Father is, far beyond the mind of man & our wildest imaginations, for He & His Spirit surpass the whole Universe! But He has stooped to send us His Son, Jesus Christ, to show us what He Himself is like.

12. THIS THEN, IS THE MOST IMPORTANT WILL OF GOD FOR YOU: THAT YOU RECOGNISE JESUS AS THE SON OF GOD & believe on Him as your Saviour & receive His Love from God manifested in His death on the cross, when He took the punishment demanded by God's perfect laws for your sins, so that you could be forgiven, so that you could be saved.

13. WHY DO YOU NEED TO BE FORGIVEN?--Because we are all sinners. The Bible says, "For all have sinned & come short of the glory of God" (Rom.3:23), & "the wages of sin is death, but the gift of God is eternal life through Jesus Christ, His Son." (Rom.6:23)

14. SO WE MUST FIRST CONFESS THAT WE KNOW WE'RE SINNERS. But some folks say, "I'm pretty good! God will surely give me credit for being pretty good, at least a lot better than many others."--No, I'm sorry, that's not enough. Because you can't go to Heaven unless you're perfect, & nobody's perfect. Everybody makes mistakes, everybody's sinned.

15. THE KING JAMES VERSION OF THE BIBLE SAYS THAT "ALL OUR OWN RIGHTEOUSNESS IS AS FILTHY RAGS." (Isa.64:6) When I studied this passage in the original Hebrew, I found that it literally says that our own self-righteousness, our own goodness, is like "filthy menstruous rags."--That's how God looks on the so- called "good" people, the people who pride themselves on being better than others: "I'm good! I don't do this, I don't do that, I don't do so-&-so!"--What we need to do is just give up trying to be good ourselves & honestly admit, "I'm just no good!--I'm bad, I'm a sinner, of course I make mistakes!"

BORN AGAIN! Pt. 1

Embedded image from another site

You have been born ·again [or anew], and this new life did not come from ·something that dies [a perishable seed], but from ·something that cannot die [an imperishable seed]. You were born ·again [or anew] through ·God’s living message that continues forever [the living and abiding/enduring word of God]. 1 Peter 1:23 Expanded Bible (EXB)

Compiled from Dave Berg's writings 3/84

1. JESUS CAME TO TRY TO MAKE SALVATION AS EASY AS HE POSSIBLY COULD!--And that's why they crucified Him, that's why they killed Him, because the Church System of the day as good as said it couldn't be done without them, without following all of their complicated laws, traditions & religious rigmarole!

2. BUT JESUS CAME & SHOWED THEM THAT THEY DIDN'T HAVE TO GO TO CHURCH ON SUNDAY--or Saturday or Friday or any other day of the week! They didn't have to follow the Church laws & rules & regulations & the Ten Commandments & all the rest. All they had to do was simply confess that they were sinners & needed Salvation & ask Jesus to give it to them!

3. THE WHOLE IDEA IS SO SIMPLE & SO CHILDLIKE THAT JESUS SAID THAT YOU MUST BECOME AS A LITTLE CHILD to enter His spiritual Kingdom of love, joy & happiness here & now in this life--as well as a beautiful, wonderful & thrilling Eternity in His Heavenly Kingdom in the next life! He said, "Except ye be converted, & become as little children, ye shall not enter into the Kingdom of Heaven!" & "Except a man be born again, he cannot even see or understand the Kingdom of God!" (Mat.18:3; John 3:3)

4. OF COURSE, NOBODY CAN REALLY FULLY UNDERSTAND SALVATION. That's why Jesus said that you must be like a little child & just accept it by faith! The Bible says that the love & peace of God "passeth all understanding." (Eph.3:19; Phil.4:7) It's a love which passes your understanding & lands right down in your heart! It is something you don't have to understand. In fact, you can't understand it, it's impossible to understand God's Love!--All you can do is receive it!

5. DOES A BABY UNDERSTAND THE LOVE OF ITS MOTHER? Does a little child understand the love of its father?--No, he just feels it, knows it, accepts it & receives it! Even before he understands language, before he even learns to talk, he understands love, he feels love & he trusts His parents because they love him. He hasn't read it in the Bible, he hasn't read love letters from his mother, he simply feels it in her love & sees it in her actions. So you don't have to understand all about God to know His wonderful love & Salvation in Jesus.--All you have to do is receive it!

6. DON'T TRY TO FIGURE HIM OUT--JUST LET HIM IN! It's just that simple! All you have to do is receive Jesus, God's Son, as your Saviour by asking Him into your heart! You can do it right now, if you want God's answer to all of your problems & His love & happiness to fill your heart & life with joy & with a new plan & purpose in living! He'll meet all your needs & solve all your problems! He's just that wonderful, & it's all just that simple! Why not try Him?

7. JESUS SAID, "I AM THE DOOR"--into His Father's House, the Kingdom of God--"by Me, if any man enter in, he shall be saved." (John 10:9) Therefore, if you want to get to Heaven, you have to walk through Jesus, the open Door. All you have to do is believe in the Door, walk through it by faith, receive Jesus, & you're saved!-- You've entered the Heavenly sphere of Salvation, Heaven on Earth, the Kingdom of God, just by walking through the open Door, Jesus!

8. THE BIBLE TELLS US THAT "GOD IS LOVE"! (1John 4:8) And what did God do to prove that He is Love, that He loves us?-- "God so loved the World"--you & I--"that He gave His only begotten Son, that whosoever believeth in Him should not perish, but have everlasting life." (John 3:16)

Tools of the Trade - Final

(Continue Final)

I’ve made such a mess of things! I’m such a failure. I’m nobody now, when I could have been king if I’d stayed in Egypt as Pharaoh’s son. But what am I now, Lord? I’m old and I’m nothing but a poor shepherd with a few dumb sheep, living on the charity of others who are not even my kindred. I guess I’ve really failed, because now You can’t trust me with anything but a few sheep and no more authority than this old wooden rod. I’ve failed to save Your people, and now it’s too late!”

I know how he felt because I was there once, thinking my life was behind me and that I’d never accomplished much for the Lord, that I only had my own little family and my children to show for my whole life’s work, living in the equivalent of a tent by the wayside watching over nothing but one tiny little flock with seemingly nothing but wood in my hands—no gold, no job, no home, no nothing but those little lives that He had given me to guide with His Word.

But one day God spoke and said, “What is that in thy hand?” I said, “Nothing, Lord! Nothing but an old worn-out wooden rod and a few kids.” But again God said, “What is that in thy hand?” And still I questioned, “What do you mean, Lord? You can see what I have in my hands! Nothing but this rod and my little lambs! What can I do with these? They’re nothing! We’re nobody!” But He said, “If you will go in My name and say only that I have sent you, I will do great things which you know not of.” And so He did, according to His promises.

With that old wooden shepherd’s crook in Moses’ hand, through the voice of Aaron, God used Moses as His instrument to free six million Jewish slaves of Egypt, plague the world’s leading power, part the Red Sea, and deliver the Israelite's from their Egyptian bondage through great tribulation into the Promised Land, although Moses himself died on the mountain and never got to see the fulfillment of his dreams in this life.

Never belittle the little things or little ones! So if you’re currently devoting your time to caring for others, or being a parent to your own children or maybe even somebody else’s children, and you’re wondering what you could possibly do with nothing but a Bible and these ones in your hands, think of Moses.—David Brandt Berg

*

God will start with what is in your hand even when it seems menial and insignificant. “What is in your hand, Moses?” This was God’s response to Moses’ ample excuses about why he was not qualified to lead Israel out of slavery to Egypt. The wisdom of the statement God spoke to Moses at the burning bush can still speak to us today.

Can you imagine what must have gone through Moses’ mind in that moment? After all, a staff is nothing more than a glorified stick! How was it going to make an impact in Pharaoh’s court? There is nothing extraordinary about a staff. But understand this: the common becomes mighty when God anoints it.

Offer unto God what He has placed in your hand. “What is in your hand” means whatever is in your care or control. This could be money, possessions, influence, talents, abilities, and more. What you withhold and retain in your hand reveals what is in your heart. Child of God, release what you hold. Your Father is waiting to use what He has placed in your hands.

We all have something in our hands. As we release what is in our hands, He releases what is in His! He is ready and willing to anoint what is in your hands.

Heavenly Father, I come to You in the name of Jesus. Show me what is in my hand. I am ready to release it to You. I will do whatever You would have me do with my life. I want to make a difference in the world today. Reveal the power of what is in my hand so I can be an answer to the problems that surround me. Anoint what I carry and help me fight with what I already possess. In Jesus’ name, amen.—Lisa Bevere

“And such trust have we through Christ to God-ward: Not that we are sufficient of ourselves to think any thing as of ourselves; but our sufficiency is of God; Who also hath made us able ministers of the new testament; not of the letter, but of the spirit: for the letter killeth, but the spirit giveth life.” 2 Corinthians 3:4-6

What Is That in Your Hand?

A compilation May 12, 2015

“Then the LORD said to him, ‘What is that in your hand?’ ‘A staff,’ he replied. The LORD said, ‘Throw it on the ground.’ Moses threw it on the ground and it became a snake, and he ran from it. Then the LORD said to him, ‘Reach out your hand and take it by the tail.’ So Moses reached out and took hold of the snake and it turned back into a staff in his hand.”—Exodus 4:2–41

If we are going to live a fruitful life, then it must begin with God asking, “What is that in your hand?” As precious as it may be, it takes our willingness to throw it down and surrender it completely to God. It might be something as important as Moses’ staff was to him, but in our hands, under our control, it can become a harbor for the snake.

At the burning bush, God commissioned Moses to free His people from Egyptian captivity, and He told him to throw his staff on the ground. The staff would have been indispensable to Moses, as it represented his livelihood. When he threw it to the ground, it immediately turned into a snake that Moses ran from. After forty years of herding sheep in the desert, Moses knew picking up a snake by the tail would be extremely dangerous because it leaves the head free to attack. But he trusted God, picked the snake up by the tail, and it turned back to the staff in his hand. What God was demonstrating to Moses was that He would look after the dangerous parts, and so it is with us when we surrender everything to God.

We may have worked long and hard at our jobs, but will we give them up to God? He may give it back as He gave Moses his staff back, but it then becomes “the job of God,” just as Moses’ staff became the “staff of God.” It will be the same job God gives us back, but under new management, new power. What about relationships, finances, studies, ambitions, and dreams? Will we drop them at the feet of God and allow Him to take control?

Surrendering completely to God does not mean everything will go smoothly. We will more than likely be taken to the front line of spiritual warfare, but the pharaohs will not frighten us; the Red Sea will not hold us back; the drought will not deter us; and the Amalekites will not defeat us, because we have in our hands what Moses had in his hand … “the staff of God,” through which many miracles were performed.—Charles Price

*

“What is that in thy hand?” God said to Moses while he was alone in the wilderness tending his sheep. There was Moses sitting alone and dejected on the semi-desert mountainside watching a mere flock of sheep and wondering why he couldn’t be out saving his people from the slavery of Egypt, feeling like such a failure after 80 years of nothingness and seeming further from his goal than ever. He was just a shepherd when he could have been Pharaoh of Egypt! What a picture of defeat with only a wooden rod instead of a golden scepter!

But suddenly God spoke and simply said, “What is that in thy hand?” In effect Moses answered, “Only a wooden rod, Lord. Only a poor old shepherd’s crook and a few dumb sheep in the wilderness of a strange land among strangers. What could I do, Lord? (To be continued, Pt. 2)

Hiding Place

Embedded image from another site

By Steve Hearts FEBRUARY 26, 2014

In the tempestuous, stormy moments of our lives, we often focus so intently on finding a way of escape or rescue that we altogether forget about the most reliable and true source of shelter and refuge.

Last night sleep seemed to totally elude me. I had been facing a low moment of discouragement, doubt, and frustration. I was restless in both mind and body. It was all I could do to prevent my thoughts from going places they ought not to go.

It was raining fairly hard outside. Although in the physical, I was sheltered, warm, and dry inside the house, my spirit felt the exact opposite. The rain outside seemed to pour in unison with the ongoing trials and difficulties I’ve been facing for a while now. Inside, I felt exposed and unprotected from the cold winds, soaked to the bone and drenched by the rain that, it seemed, would never stop.

I was quickly losing my grip on hope and my faith was flickering low. I honestly told the Lord that I wanted with all my heart to hang on and be faithful to the end but that this would only be possible with His help. I asked Him to point out any important truth to which I may be currently blinded. Then I lay in silence for a moment.

The answer I received was rather unexpected. I was clearly told to listen to the song “Hiding Place” by Steven Curtis Chapman.

I put on the song, not expecting much. After all, I knew it like the back of my hand. Yet, each word seemed to hit the spot like a cup of hot coffee on a cold, rainy day, or like the sensation one feels when coming in from the cold of winter to a warm place.

I’m not asking You to take away my troubles, Lord.
‘Cause it’s through the stormy weather I learn to trust You more.
But I thank You for the promise that I have come to know.
Your unfailing love surrounds me when I need it most.

As the song continued to play, the Lord spoke to me. “Are you taking shelter in My promises and My love for you? Or are you too busy looking and hoping for a way of escape from all this?”

I had clearly been doing the latter. I had been hoping and praying to be rescued from this situation, instead of using God’s Word and love for me as the shelter it was meant to be. No wonder I felt so exposed and vulnerable.

“It’s not that I can’t or won’t bring you out of this situation somehow,” He continued. “But meanwhile, let Me be the refuge and shelter I promised to be for you until the storm runs its course.”

With these words came flooding back a series of promises I had known for as long as I could remember:

“God is our refuge and strength, a very present help in trouble. Therefore will not we fear, though the earth be removed, and though the mountains be carried into the midst of the sea; though the waters thereof roar and be troubled, though the mountains shake with the swelling thereof.”1

“Yea, in the shadow of thy wings will I make my refuge, until these calamities be overpast.”2

“The eternal God is thy refuge, and underneath are the everlasting arms.”3

None of these promises speak of “rescue” from trouble, although God can and does rescue us according to His will. More important, He is our “refuge” as we go through trials and difficulties. Just as running into a building during a storm does not cause the storm to cease; rather, it provides shelter until the storm runs its course.

With this renewed perspective on storms, I can now fully trust and rest in Jesus to be my refuge and shelter for as long as the storm lasts, while the final outcome rests in His hands. Meanwhile, my hands will be lifted up to Him in praise because He is my hiding place.

2 Psalm 57:1.
3 Deuteronomy 33:27.

True Values

Therefore all things whatsoever ye would that men should do to you, do ye even so to them: for this is the law and the prophets. Matthew 7:12 KJV

A Compilation May 2012

Nothing truly valuable arises from ambition or from a mere sense of duty; it stems rather from love and devotion towards men.—Albert Einstein

Mahatma Gandhi identified the seven sins in the world as wealth without work, pleasure before conscience, knowledge without character, commerce without morality, science without humanity, worship without sacrifice, and politics without principle.

We must understand spiritual truths and apply them to our modern life. We must draw strength from the almost forgotten virtues of simplicity, humility, contemplation, and prayer. It requires a dedication beyond science, beyond self, but the rewards are great and it is our only hope.—Charles Lindbergh

The person who tries to live alone will not succeed as a human being. His heart withers if it does not answer another heart. His mind shrinks away if he hears only the echoes of his own thoughts and finds no other inspiration.—Pearl S. Buck

Measure wealth not by the things you have, but by the things you have that you wouldn’t sell for money.—Author unknown

An individual has not started living until he can rise above the narrow confines of his individualistic concerns to the broader concerns of all humanity.—Martin Luther King Jr.

Life in time remains without meaning if it does not find its meaning in eternity.—Nicolas Berdyaew

The greatest use of life is to spend it for something that outlasts it—William James

Happiness is not so much in having as sharing. We make a living by what we get, but we make a life by what we give.—Norman MacEwan

If life be short, then moderate your worldly cares and projects; do not cumber yourselves with too much provision for a short voyage.—Author unknown

The best and most beautiful things in the world cannot be seen or even touched. They must be felt within the heart.—Helen Keller

Life becomes harder for us when we live for others, but it also becomes richer and happier.—Albert Schweitzer

Jesus said, “Take heed and beware of covetousness, for one’s life does not consist in the abundance of the things he possesses.”1 Living, the real thing, doesn’t consist of things at all, because things cannot truly satisfy. They may temporarily satisfy the body but they can never satisfy the soul or the spirit that cries out to God its Father for the joy and happiness and the eternal fulfillment that only God can give.—David Brandt Berg

1. Luke 12:15
**
LET THE LORD BE YOUR FIRST LOVE AND ALWAYS KEEP HIM IN THAT PLACE

For Christ to be valued at all, He must be valued ABOVE all! You must seek first the King and His Kingdom!--And to seek first means foremost and above all!--Before everything else, above everything else, beyond everything else, and more than anything else! The FIRST place must belong to HIM!

The most important time you have to spend is with the Lord! To neglect your fellowship with the King of kings because you're so busy with the affairs of the kingdom can be disastrous to your spiritual life and communion with the Lord! "Thou shalt have no other gods before Me."--Not even His service!--Nor even lost souls! So it behooves you to give God a little time, and we should give Him some time every day!--Every single day!

But if you'll just put the Lord first and delight yourself in Him most of all, then He can trust you with other things, because they will not come between you and the Lord. They will not supersede nor overshadow nor distract, but they will supplement and be a help and merely augment your service to Him!--And all things shall be added unto you by His power and His strength and His might and in His time!

“Hear this, O foolish and senseless people, who have eyes, but see not, who have ears, but hear not. Jeremiah 5:21 KJV

Written by Peter Amsterdam Wednesday, 01 April 2015

When Jesus rose from the dead, His resurrection was the first phase of God’s new creation, a new kind of existence—a human body was transformed by the power of God into one that is no longer affected by death, decay, and corruption. Nothing like this had ever happened! “We know that Christ, being raised from the dead, will never die again; death no longer has dominion over Him.”1

Jesus’ resurrected body no longer suffered from the torture He had undergone—His back torn to shreds from the whipping; His head bloodied by the crown of thorns; His hands, feet, and side pierced. He was no longer battered, nor was He exhausted from all He had endured.

His risen body wasn’t a spirit; it was physical, which His followers could touch. He taught them,2 walked with them,3 cooked for them,4 and ate with them.5 He was once together with 500 of them at one time.6 After 40 days,7 He ascended into heaven,8 where He sits at the right hand of God.9

As Christians, we too are part of God’s new creation. We can look forward to the time when Jesus will return and raise our bodies as well.10 The apostle Paul speaks about our bodies raised from death in terms of a seed that is planted, and from which the more complete plant grows.11 He goes on to explain that these new bodies will be imperishable, raised in glory and power as spiritual bodies.12

Being imperishable means our bodies will not have the weaknesses they have now. They won’t be affected by aging, sickness, or weariness as they are today. As one author wrote, “In these resurrection bodies we will clearly see humanity as God intended it to be.”13

When a person receives Jesus as their Savior, God’s Spirit comes to dwell within them and they are renewed and regenerated. Renewal is a renovation, a change in the believer for the better. Regeneration is the production of a new life consecrated to God, a radical change of mind. “When God our Savior revealed his kindness and love, he saved us, not because of the righteous things we had done, but because of his mercy. He washed away our sins, giving us a new birth and new life through the Holy Spirit.”14

As part of the new creation, God’s Spirit changes us, helping us to put on the mind of Christ, as we develop and reflect some of God’s characteristics by growing in love, joy, peace, patience, kindness, goodness, faithfulness, gentleness, and self-control.15

And that’s why we have so much to celebrate!—That God dwells in us and helps, guides, and renews us; that we are part of His new creation; that we will live eternally in our new bodies, with perfect health and no aging, sickness, or disease. This is the good news of the Gospel: the love that God has for each individual, the offer of everlasting life, of resurrection from the dead, of being a new creature in Christ Jesus today and a part of the overall new creation for eternity.

May we be motivated by the beauty of God’s gift through Jesus to share it and its blessings with all we can.

Written by Message from Jesus Sunday, 01 March 2015

In My heavenly kingdom, in the realm of the Spirit, all are happy and fulfilled, because they better understand My love. They do not question My love for them, for they have experienced the height and breadth and depth of it. They have great peace and great joy. There is no feeling that one is greater than another or that one is more loved than another, because they have found contentment in the knowledge that I love each of them for who they are. They understand that I died for each one, that I have redeemed each one, and therefore each one is very special to Me.

And so it is with you. You are special to Me! My love for you is personal. Don’t ever think that you’re just one in the crowd to Me. Don’t ever think that because there are so many others, I don’t see you or that My love will run out before it reaches you.

I know your innermost longings and your innermost fears and insecurities. I know your faults, too, and I love you just the same. I am loving, merciful, and sympathetic. When you struggle, when you are tempted, weary, or weak, I feel for you. When you are victorious, I rejoice with you.

I love you and care about you, and I am never far away. Let Me shower you with the freshness of My love. Let Me surround you with the warmth of My love. Let Me clothe you with the security of My love. Let Me show you how special you are to Me.—Jesus

MESSAGE FROM JESUS

These words from Jesus were received by men and women just like you who asked Jesus to speak to them. They claimed the biblical promise “Call to me and I will answer you, and will tell you great and hidden things that you have not known,” and they received advice, direction, and encouragement.

The messages of guidance and comfort received during personal prayer express Jesus’ great love and personal concern. Jesus will speak to anyone who believes in Him, asks Him to speak, and accepts that the “still, small voice” they hear in their hearts is Him speaking.

Jeremiah 33:3 ESV.

1 Kings 19:11–13.

HONEST, OPEN-MINDED SCIENTISTS THROUGHOUT ALL HISTORY HAVE ACKNOWLEDGED THE EXISTENCE OF GOD!

True science acknowledges the existence of God, and true scientists know there's Something, Somebody, some Planner, some Designer behind it all. Like Dr. Steiner, the world's greatest authority on the living human cell, who said, "After 30 years of study of the human cell I cannot help but marvel at the Divine Designer Who made it!"

Or James Clerk Maxwell, the Scottish scientific genius and Lord Kelvin, the British inventor of the absolute scale of temperature, who declared, "Science is incompetent to reason upon the creation of matter itself out of nothing," and "we must pause, face to face, with the mystery and miracle of the Creation of living creatures."

Or Sir William Herschel, the German-born Astronomer and discoverer of the planet Uranus, who said, "All human discoveries seem to be made only for the purpose of confirming more and more strongly the Truth contained in the Bible!"

Today, God is giving man more and more evidence of His existence through the marvels of His Creation, and all that we see teaches us to trust the Creator for all we have not seen!

The King’s Banquet

Written by Rosane Pereira 01 May 2015

My mother often cooked something special on Sundays. I can still remember the big open window in the living room, the unfolded table spread in the center, the delicious food, and the joyful family conversation.

We usually went to Children’s Mass at 10 am, while she stayed back and cooked and my dad did some fixing around the house. The story I remember most from those child-friendly sermons was the parable Jesus told of the king who invited his nobles to a banquet, but they all gave excuses why they couldn’t attend. So he sent for the beggars and poor peasants, who gladly came.1 Though at the time I didn’t understand its deeper meaning, that story left a deep impression on me.

Food is often connected with unity, good times, and celebrations. When I was a teen, a popular song went: “We plough the fields and scatter the good seed on the land. But it is fed and watered by God’s almighty hand. … All good things around us are sent from heaven above. Then thank the Lord … for all His love.”2 Even though I was an unbeliever at the time, this song filled my soul with joy.

Soon after that, I began to grow in faith again and eventually entered Christian service. A few years back, at a time when my problems seemed to have multiplied, I started to think God had forsaken me, but I didn’t go far before reading “The Lord is always with me,”3 “I have loved you with an everlasting love!”4 and “I will never leave you nor forsake you.”5

Throughout my life, God’s Word has helped me countless times to grow and better understand God and others. Sometimes His words are like a snack, other times a full meal, like my mother’s delicious Sunday specials. I am so grateful that the King invited me to His banquet, and that I accepted the invitation!

Come and Dine

“Come and dine,” You said to Your followers after Your resurrection,6 and You give the same invitation to everyone today. I accept. I want to know You, to receive You. I want to sit at Your table and eat with You in paradise.

Be present at our table, Lord;
Be here and everywhere adored;
Thy creatures bless, and grant that we
May feast in paradise with Thee.

‘Thinking Out Loud’ - The Need Is Here

Sweet Song & Sexy Dance for Romantic Moments - Ed Sheeran

by Power Point Paradise • May 1, 2015

The dancing they practiced and filmed shot-by-shot, we’ll be able to do naturally in Heaven, and without gravity then, floating up into the air and far more gracious than this even, and it will be so-o loving. I was telling a Taipei girl uni student yesterday, who designs and wears her own far-out fashion, that in Heaven we can design as well and far more beautiful than here. She was amazed at that and began to ask me many questions about Heaven.

She asked specifically — and it inspired her to know– that THERE –right now– there is no more suffering, and only love between loving people who won’t even be under the bondage of marriage anymore, but will be able to date anyone they like, who is willing to be dated. At the end she was ready to go.. almost! If people went to Heaven immediately after they asked Jesus –The Seed! — to come into their hearts, very few would do so. But first watch this heavenly dance… [The official video for 'Thinking Out Loud', Ed learnt to dance! Posted]

Although Heaven is so beautiful, to kiss this world goodbye and “beam me up Scotty!” at the drop of a hat, would be far too great a forsaking for most people, although not for the down-and-out, close-to-suicide, homeless, lonely, brokenhearted, handicapped, poor-in-spirit, forsaken, abandoned, misused, abused children, war-torn widows, orphans and war recruits, diseased by GMO-s, Cancer, and vaccinations, depressed by drugs, repressed by governments and selfish corporatist executors and lying mainstream media.

If these could leave it all behind.. they would.. before the hat even dropped! If it wasn’t for my wife being lonely, I would ask Jesus and instantly fly away too. This world is just getting too evil and too much. BUT….. Jesus doesn’t take you Home immediately when you receive His love in your heart!

WHY does He not take you home immediately? Because He needs you HERE to help others find Him, so all the kind, sweet, loving people can go to Heaven together, when HE comes to collect us all at that darkest Times of the End at the "Last Trumpet" where the Mystery of God is Finished (Revelation 10:7 & 11:15-18), after the imminent One World Government utterly fails and will try to snuff millions of precious lives during the closing hours of Man's History as we know it!

All You Need is Love

Our goal is to love God and our neighbour as ourselves, and as a result bring love to the whole world and peace and freedom and plenty for all!

True love, real love, God's love, is all the religion you need! This unselfish, sacrificial love includes the love of one human being for another, love in all forms, as long as it is true love, real love, God's love!

This is our specific religion and these are the principles that we practice––love, the religion which Jesus Himself taught, the good news that God is love!

God is love, not a cruel tyrant, not a monster who is trying to frighten everyone into hell, but a God Who is trying to love everyone into Heaven! You must simply love Him, receive Jesus in your own heart personally (Jn.1:12 and Rev.3:20) and love others––that's all!
