Gosh ...
I have never thought that Im those traditional parents, I give my daughter lots of freedom regarding her personal stuff, as she has always chosen what to wear , even if that included tutus and bunny ears everywhere... oh , she had bunny , kitty , bear , monkey ears ,and I loved it to be that way -she says now shes too big for that hehe- . Same time , since age of 4 she cleans her room and baths herself. Enven sometimes prepares breakfast for me -not using the oven of course. Im not strict with grades but very strict with good manners, saying please and thank you its a golden rule for us... and she gets great grades anyways.
So I can say that Im very proud of what I have done. This little parrot wich is my daughter , is a great kid and I like my strict -giving parentings style... but this parents went way further...

I was in love before , yes ,and so were you... but never ever saw myself sharing life and expecting to grow old together and live as grandma and grandpa for the rest of our lives...
You fulfill me, know me and understand me in a way that I didn't know it was possible...
Took us three years to achieve this and I have enjoyed every single step.
Im proud of what we became...that we are able to handle this whole -very difficult- situation and turn it into the sweetest thing I have ever lived
I Still cant understand how are you able to listen with the whole attention in the world to every single stupid story i have to tell...about my friends , family , Coni and so on...

So, the adventure has just begun...
This Friday Im saying goodbye to everything I have known for the last 7 years I have been living in this city
I already quit my job , and my last day it's this friday so Im very very excited about all this, even If i love what I do... it's gonna be fun to be away for a while, coz really stresses me out...
However I couldnt quit with a last 'issue ' , one of my drivers had an accident in the mine so...investigation here I come ...
Already sold everything I had...
Thursday Im gonna say good bye to my friends...
And Friday I'm gonna leave behind 7 years of my story in this city...To start a compleatly new one with the man I love and my baby girl!!!

Sunday evening...
Wathing the TV on the couch , me and my 7 yo little one...
Suddenly ... lotto starts and got me thinking the typicall question...'What would I do if'... When I decide to ask my daughter , just curious to know if she can understand the concept of such a big big cash and what would be possible to do with it...
I thought she would day dream about that princess castle she always wanted or the huge house in the tree or that pony she has always wanted! ...
-Me:' Honey , what would be the first thing you would get , if you win the lottery??'

So... that's it... After two years since we decided we wanted to get to know eachother, regardless of the 15,000 Kms apart, we are having the time of our lives together. And it's funny , coz by 'having lots of fun' I mean just spending time together. Nothing else. No other expectation than enoying eachother's company.
I landed in Vienna last Sunday, and expected to see him on the exit. But nobody was there... I freaked out! He was in the other side of the que and we just didn't see eachother .
So our first words to eachother, twenty minutes later , were not very romantic , was more like me saying ' Where have u beeeeeen I was worried... I hate you!' followed by the tightest hug I've got... and the sweetest kiss ever.
We knew we loved eachother when we were online... we know we love eachother now that we are together.
Believing things were possible was the right thing to do.
Life is great. Couldn't be any happier.
The Main reason I'm all excited about christmas, it's my 7 yo little angel, Santa is comming to town and stuff, so I need to get ready and try my best, to get what she expects...
Year by year though , I've noticed that she never asks for anything big... just "Whatever Santa can get me it's ok mommy" and "Oh!, a ballerina dress this year if possible??"

But, theres something else adding "excitement" to this holiday thing.
My stepfather (the one I've called dad since I was 5) got cancer... and after fighting the whole year, We found out it got spread all over his lymphatic nodes...wich gives him at most a couple of years long to live... We were sad, for sure, but at same time thankfull of still having time to "enjoy" grandpa and dad for a couple of years more.-.. making his life the best it can be starting now, enjoying his company and telling him how much we love him...
Christmas its gonna definetely have a different "Flavor" from this year ...

I really thought that the hardest part of my Vegetarian transition would be actually stop eating meat....
But guess what!!
So far and in spite of my sometimes-hard-to-deal-with carnivore desires... lol...I've (unfortunately) found out that ...the hardest part of this whole transition has to do with ...MY FAMILY AND FRIENDS...
Even calling me names because of my desition...
"Are u stupid?"
"God *insert my real name here lol* !! You're totally INSANE!!"
"What do u eat?"
"See?? tastes greaaaaaat (showing me a steak or something)"
"Why do you do this!! "
As if I was doing something really EXTREME! Im just not eating meat anymore ! lol
It's funny how people is not able to show respect for something really simple as...what I eat...
I can just Imagine how does it feel to belong to a minority !!

Well... after so many months wondering if would this be the right thing to do... researching and asking ppl here and there (scientist and docs friends) how would this affect my health and stuff... Ive finally decided to go vegan.
I've always been sort of Capitain Planet so my friends say..." watch out with those papers" "dont print that if u dont need it!" "Get ur trash where it should be!!!" ... yeah... annoying for some people , I know , but thats ...well... ME
I know I won't make a huge difference... by stop eating meat. Hardly 1 cow will be saved, a few chickens and a couple of pigs.
But If I declare to be myself an animal lover... then its time for me to behave as one...
Actions speak way louder than words.
It's a challenge for me , but so far I could say "no" to a huge steak today that my mom offered LOL
My daughter asked " Mommy , arent u eating meat anymore so cows can walk free and not be afraid of being killed??" ... I think so :=) I said.

Just I remember 4 years ago or so I was thinking about how hard life can be sometimes... actually was pretty cranky and sleepy... had an exam at uni at midnight that day and slept just a couple of hours because my lil one was very sick...
Here's what happened...
6 am in my house...everybody sleeping...but me..
Me:"Hell... why do everybody need to wake up that early... why Do I have to work that hard... Why can't have a break!! WHY!!..IF there's such a thing like "GOD" or something "ELSE" I'd have an answer..isn't it??
!Well I want that answer NOW... why do I have to work that hard huh???"
In that exact moment I heard a lil voice...calling me ...
"Mami??? "....
"Ok... thanks for the answer"
moral of the story...
the answer is right there :)
