Going Vegetarian - Day 7
OMG!!!I really thought that the hardest part of my Vegetarian transition would be actually stop eating meat....
But guess what!!
So far and in spite of my sometimes-hard-to-deal-with carnivore desires... lol...I've (unfortunately) found out that ...the hardest part of this whole transition has to do with ...MY FAMILY AND FRIENDS...
Even calling me names because of my desition...
"Are u stupid?"
"God *insert my real name here lol* !! You're totally INSANE!!"
"What do u eat?"
"See?? tastes greaaaaaat (showing me a steak or something)"
"Why do you do this!! "
As if I was doing something really EXTREME! Im just not eating meat anymore ! lol
It's funny how people is not able to show respect for something really simple as...what I eat...
I can just Imagine how does it feel to belong to a minority !!
Oh wait a minute! I do!!
Im an hispanic single mom & vegetarian in mining - tech enviroment
But truth be told ...Im still kind of surprised my own friends judge and criticize that bad!!
mmm... Not that I care that much...

Or at least I can :)
Funny thing , leave a comment and "Hide"
poor thing :)
Its just a matter of beliefs and choices, but how important its to respect and being respected!!
That's why I became a vegetarian!
Not really ... lol
But hell it's a good reason !! hehehe
TOO Wit TOO Woo...
Hugs,
Summer
Thank u guys!!!!
Nawww, its just bcoz u deserve a reply just for u :)
You actually got me thnking about the bunch of chemicals we get everywhere... and ..yikes...scary huh!!
Big hug girl!!!!!

Keep us updated...
Thank uu :):):):)
Challenge number one today: Going to a BBQ... and just getting the salads !
So I'm ready for a bunch of questions from ppl I know aaaaaaand to be observed while I eat ...salads...
She said: I must have some meat, I must eat someone, or I will bite on a human being next to me. For me it was apparent that her current negative emotions and aggression were directly linked to her habit of eating meat.
Pol - Your friend could wear a "meat patch" on the arm. That way, she could turn vegitarian and still take care of the meat cravings. And any time I go to a restaurant, I order salad.
Yeah , That's the point.. People tend to criticize ANYTHING that might be slightly different from what they're used to...
But ah well :)
