This is Rose...our beautiful red roan mare...she is in the clinic and is in grave danger...her second surgery was scheduled today-all from a tiny littl puncture below her fetlock which got infected in her tendon sheath....we are sitting on pins and needles...will be back later to check comments!
Storms expected today...I am almost out the door to fly to Dallas then Nashville....then home! Woohoo! So happy to get home! I pray the storms are not too bad today so I can land in Nashville...and my home and creatures are all safe! See ya all, soon!!!!
My daughter has our cats in one room, food and water packed in my truck...halters on the horses and is prepared for the worst...Our home area will be having supercells passing that direction...right now the skies are just beginning to rumble...I know we are in God's hands...she just said baseball sized hail two counties over....

A little while ago, I asked my son to call the local video store...of course, he is from Washington like me. Only he hasn't been here as long. Only Since December. So...he calls the video store...asks when the "Thor" movie is coming out....and then hangs up the phone. He replies..."She said she couldn't understand a thing I said" with a Tennessee kind of accent. I asked for the phone. In my best southern drawal...I sweetly asked,"Howdy...when do yall get the Thor movie in?" and she sweetly answered me....My son rolls his eyes at me and laughs..."Look at you ma...get your Tennesse on!!!"
